They are nice looking and very thick. Appear to be a very good quality. I bought for canning. I felt they blocked the heat very well. I'd like to see arm length longer, shorter fingers and a bit easier stretch around the upper arm. Well worth the money. The grip is very good. Once you get one on- it's kinda hard to get the second one on but overall very nice. Definitely a good quality glove.

    I love that these gloves go up my arm as I have a double oven and I use the upper oven more than the lower one. Unfortunately, the upper oven is a bit high so when I am loading or unloading, I often burn my arms so these gloves help with that. One thing that bothers me is that these gloves claim to be heat resistant to 1472 degrees, but I have felt a burn through the gloves from handling casseroles dishes from the oven at 350-400 degrees, so be warned. Also, these gloves run big, they seem to be more suited for a man's hand. With that said, I still would recommend them for handling hot dishes from the oven with caution.

    These are fantastic. I work in a grocery store deli operating a rotisserie oven which requires detailed cleaning while piping hot and these gloves allow me to grab hot metal without burning my hands while giving me the flexibility to wrap my fingers around scrubbers and other cleaning tools.     I got these for use when grilling on a larger propane grill. They handled the heat very well and provided a good grip on the utensils I use. However after a while my hands got warm enough to sweat a bit. Not uncomfortable at all but still a little sweating. If I took the gloves off for something I had some trouble getting them back on because the damp lining tended to grab my hands and made it difficult to get them fully on. It shouldn't be a problem with short tasks like most dinners but could become an issue with longer jobs like an hour or two of grilling for a large picnic.

    I purchased these gloves to replace some old oven mitts that bit the dust a while ago. I used them the first time while seasoning a new cast iron pan and am happy to report that even though the pan was over 450 degrees Fahrenheit the gloves held up and blocked all the heat perfectly. I purchased them on sale and would have gladly paid the extra $5 if I had to knowing now how well they work. I would definitely recommend them.

    Twice now I’ve pulled sheet pans out of a 425F oven and both times, I could barely hold them long enough to get them from the over to the counter.

    My wife actually burnt her hand.

    I have no idea how they can advertise these for up to 1,400F.

    They’re ok for stuff coming out of a 350F oven. But much over that and you don’t have long to let go before you’re feeling the heat.
