    Did not have high expectations but was surprised! Install was easy on my 2018 Street Glide with the double sided tape. I stuck it under the vent behind the fairing. I made sure to un coil the entire cable and route it around the edges of the inner fairing to allow for better reception. I wired the power wire into the back of the cigarette lighter for key-on power. Reception so far has been great, granted I’m in San Diego and the stations are close. I think routing the 80” coax cable around the inside of the fairing is what helped get better signal. Don’t forget the pigtail adapter for your specific radio if you don’t have the push in type antenna connection.

    After being powered up for about 10 minutes after installation the amp LED went off and lost all radio reception. I verified with voltage was at 12V and had a good ground connection. For the short time it did work it really didn't improve signal strength anyway.

    Mounted it on the inside of my motorcycle fairing and put power to it. Tried it out before I put the fairing back together. Got the same radio stations with the same reception as before. Put the fairing together and didnt get half the stations anymore. Not worth the money if it's going to be enclosed.
