Virtually Indestructible
Even in heat and humidity, your Viotti carbon bow won't warp like a regular wood bow.

You'll Feel and Hear the Difference
Try it and see. Your Viotti violin bow is stiffer, stronger, more responsive, with a sleek, contoured shape for ultimate flexibility. You'll love its rich, resonant sound: smoother legato, crisper staccato, and cleaner, brighter spiccato with more evenness and control.

Made by Violinists for Violinists
Forget bows sold by factory resellers. Choose Viotti for Exquisite Workmanship. Viotti workshop is specially devoted to crafting fine violins and accessories. All Viotti bow makers are violinists themselves, so they care passionately about sound quality (and it shows).
Pure White Mongolian Horse Hair
Why settle for cheap synthetics? Your Viotti Carbon Fiber Violin Bow features all-natural Mongolian horse hair, carefully gathered and dressed (without any harm to horses). Best of all, it's unbleached, so it retains its full strength and thickness.
Exquisite in Every Detail
From its mother-of-pearl accents to its glistening nickel trim, this beautiful bow offers elegant, stand-out style. Has a smooth, strong ebony frog, genuine leather grip, and premium nickel winding + sturdy end screw.
Painstaking Quality Control

I live in Alabama where the heat and humidity ruins bows before delivery. I've only been playing the violin about a year, so this may be a personal issue, but you can see my old bow on bottom and this one next to the fancy box it came in. If you zoom in, you can see the tip of the frog that touches your thumb is a little more squarred off
Perhaps, it's my grip but it just wasn't quite as comfortable as my old one. Plus, the sound isn't quite as warm as my old bow and it's also a little stiffer. This is definitely an excellent bow for the price. My old bow came with my violin so I don't know how it compares price wise.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2024Color: Fleur de lisVerified PurchaseI am a professional violinist. I'm the concertmaster of a small orchestra, and section player of a larger orchestra. I teach lessons as well, and usually suggest SHAR fusion ($60) or Presto ($89), or Fiddlerman Carbon fiber ($68.79) for an inexpensive bow option to students. I decided to order a couple of bows from Amazon in this price range to try. I am quite impressed with this bow! It pulls a nice clean sound out of the violin, is weighted nicely, and handles well. I am able to play spiccato, ricochet, and even sautille. I like it so much that I have been playing with it instead of my nice bow, which is worth $,$$$. I will definitely be recommending this to my students.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2024Color: PearlVerified PurchaseThis one made a world of difference in playability and sound in my practice. Very nice and not to heavy as with many carbon fiber products of similar design. Highly recommend it for your student violinist. Great value for the price.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2023Color: Fleur de lisVerified PurchaseI bought this bow in April 2022 for $58. I have six bows with one that cost $364. To me they are all good. If I need another one it will be the Viotti. I started violin when I was 8 years old and I am now 95. I played off and on for most of those years but got very seriously into playing about 15 years ago. and since then I have recorded over 200 hundred pieces from Broadway, hymns and popular. I have gotten into producing CD's with those pieces in a modest studio. I give my music to friends and so far they have not run me out of town. I now play the electric violin because I can do this without disturbing my daughter, with whom I now live.
I love the violin and plan to play it as long as I am able.
I have an editor and I do a lot of work on my music before I am satisfied with it.
I use a digital recorder and have a pretty good production setup.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2020Color: PearlVerified PurchaseI've only been playing violin a few months but the Glasser bow that came with my Yamaha V5 student outfit is really subpar, even for a beginner bow (it is mostly plastic). While looking for a replacement, I came across the Viotti bow here on Amazon and, after reading the reviews, decided to give it a go. It arrived this morning and I've already applied the rosin and run through a practice session. I have to say, the sound it produces is quite nice (I'm new to violin but not music studies in general). As for bow hold, it's very easy to get a proper grip on it and it slides nicely across the strings, unlike my Glasser bow, which feels unwieldy no matter how I hold it. The Viotti bow feels far more balanced and natural in the hand, in comparison. To top it off, it looks stunning! I love all the mother of pearl on it.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2025Color: PearlVerified PurchaseIs this the best quality bow on the market? No. Does it work decently well? Yes. For the money spent, I really can’t complain. It isn’t overly heavy, fairly well balanced, and if paired with a quality rosin, it doesn’t sound terrible. I’m definitely saving up for a better bow for performances, but this will do for now - and then will behind a not too bad practice/back up option.
