Product looks great and works great set up took a little bit of time but overall happy with the way that it looks on my countertops and all of the things it filters out of the water. One thing I didn’t think about when purchasing it is that the in upper section that holds water before it filters through is still plastic as well as the filter itself. So not 100% avoiding a plastic container here however, the section that it sits in majority of the time is pure glass and looks very nice like a party display water container.

    This is an awesome filter. It works great by the kitchen faucet for refilling. The difference in water clarity and taste is so good, it's kind of scary to think what we've been drinking. My only regret is that I wanted the Marble / Acacia base but their customer service said they were sold out and didn't know if they would be available. The next day, I noticed the Marble / Acacia model was back online. My bamboo base is already splintering.

    I am a review reader … then if I purchase an item .. I scratch my head with people’s inaccurate reviews.
    1. It is very well made the stand is sturdy it did not require using a screw driver the 2 pieces fit together. It has little grip tabs to place on the bottom of the stand to make it secure not wobbly and won’t slide about .
    2. The glass container is thick heavy glass NOT thin.I was actually shocked at the heaviness of the glass.
    3. The booklet is very detailed and very easy to follow (some one said it wasn’t ) it has written words AND pictures to follow … with a lot of info about how to figure how often to change the filter.
    4. The filter is easy to use and easy to put in the container that holds the water to filter in.
    5. The bamboo lid may be a maybe / maybe not a tad off but I really think it is fine and covers the water tank easily not worried about anything getting in the water .
    6. The water filters through really quick.
    THE TASTE:*The water is almost silky to the taste and the way it feels in your mouth it’s almost weird feeling but not in a bad way! Lol No after taste .. the water just taste plan good !
    THE ONE DOWN SIDE:
    * I will say I had the same issue with leaking I read where some one turned the spout 360’ a few times and it seem to help . I have done that it does seem to help.I think the plug that is already on the container is kinda soft and maybe that is the issue .. I don’t know .. hopefully the turning of spout seems to help. The leak is my ONLY complaint !

    Today I did a taste test … I poured tap water in one cup and one with the recharge water .. I switched them about and had no idea which was what and it was no guess which was the Ph water . The tap water had a taste that was no doubt not the right one !
    There may be more good things but these are the highlights . I am glad I purchased it
    Finally I sent a message to the company about the leaky spout they are sending me another one … not sure if I will need it or if it will really be any different but I will have another for back up! I hope the turning the spout has solved the debacle !
    If you can get past the leak and are wanting to change your drinking water for the price this is for you !

    Severe problem with water leakage out of Spicket
    I have replacements hoping replacing will work .. this almost a year from purchase . I still love the product I just wish there was something that can be done with the drippy leaky water spicket!
    Just wanted to give an update! It drained completely over night and I am keeping the filter I water (actually) filtering weather into some containers for use during the day for drinking and etc.
    I still love it but I may have to purchase a new filter not sure if over night it dried out and not working 100% .. hoping my husband can replace it and maybe get it a better seal !

    For 1… at the initial opening of everything & I quickly noticed the metal & bamboo part of the lid were detached when they were supposed to obviously be glued together (per picture). I wasn’t too upset & just thought my husband could re-glue it before finishing the installation.
    For 2: I followed through with the rest of the process while letting the filter soak & knowing I had read some reviews about some leaking issues, I attempted the spigot situation before completing the installation (to save my sanity). It came with 2 spigot options & I tried the left to right one first. I put the spigot in, filled the glass container above spigot & let it do its thing over our sink.
    The first issue was the lack of water pressure. The other was that it started to leak/drip.
    I then tried the other spigot & even though it didn’t leak, I still didn’t trust the lack of control in the handle of it. It would snap back kinda quick & hitting the glass kind of hard made me worried for any potential breakage in glass overtime. The whole mechanism just didn’t make me feel warm & fuzzy.

    So all of that said, I chose to take the filter out of water & put everything back together & sending it back.
    I took so much time deciding on which one I wanted to buy & have for longevity & I disregarded some of the issues mentioned from other buyers hoping I would be lucky. But I’ll wait until they go through more models & solidify a more functional & trustworthy product.

    Life changing. It tastes great. I fill up glass bottles I found off amazon and refill them with this water. Definitely clean the filter out, lots of charcoal was seeping out so follow the instructions and then some. Dont overfill your tank. If the spiggot dowsnt work just tighten/ maneuver it. Because you should be cleaning it anyways this is an obvious step. I too was worried it would leak and it did, until I tightened it which worked perfect. This is a life changer for my family, my dogs even get their bowls filled with it. Makes me feel better that Im not gulping down microplastics anymore. Wish the filters were cheaper but I would buy again! Great buy. Works well. Taste great.

    I was apprehensive about ordering this unit based on reviews, but again most people only review when they are disappointed, I, myself have been meaning to review this item, but life is busy. If I was upset I probably would have made it a priority to review, so take those reviews with a grain if salt. This unit is amazing! My kids are drinking way more water. It was easy to assemble. I soaked the filter while I assembled the unit and washed everything with hot soapy water, reviews stated a plastic taste, so I was overly proactive. I ran 6 full cycles through the unit before taking drink, it filters quickly with the base line filter it comes with, I can't speak to the add in filter. The water is crisp, clean, and refreshing. As for the faucet leaks, mine came with two faucets and a ton of silicone gaskets, one of the two faucets did leak, the gate valve in that faucet sucks, but I quickly swapped it for the secondary faucet. No leaks, no issues. I debated between this unit and a rainfresh gravity system, I landed on this because unit of the esthetics to be honest. It is beautiful, it isn't a stainless steel monstrosity occupying a large space, it's light and airy, you don't really notice it's there. The filters for this seem to be readily avaliable and a decent price compared to other units on the markert. Glad I pulled the trigger on this system
