The IT team at my job recommended this speaker for meetings. It was expensive so I was reluctant but I did pretty good research and this one really was the best option as far as features and functionality, and I’d rather pay the money and have that than pay less and have less.
Anyways, I LOVE THIS SPEAKER. I take a lot of conference calls and meetings and sometimes my headset would act up leaving me frantically trying to get my laptop to be my main source of speaker/mic which was a pain.
Once you Bluetooth this to your ur laptop, anytime you turn it on it automatically connects immediately which I love. The sound quality is great. I love the ease of tapping the mute button in the middle. You just tap is so lightly and it goes on and off. That way I can stay unmuted on the meeting software while still being able to use mute quickly off and on as needed.
I have a noise machine in my office that sounds like a waterfall, and I asked the team if they could hear background noise or my noise machine and they couldn’t hear it at all.
It’s got a great and sturdy case the keeps it protected and easy to bring with me on the go or put into my drawer without it getting banged up.
The weight of it is pretty good, you can tell it is a quality speaker.
Honestly, I was going to expense this to my company and one of my bosses didn’t understand why I wanted a speaker (I tried out the one the IT team had before buying my own)… needless to say I purchased it on my own out of spite because it is an excellent speaker and so convenient… and he’s seen it being used and thinks it’s cool and guess what I’m not sharing and this one has my name on it. Maybe he will get one to expense out now lol 😂

This is almost perfection. Great sound, easy to use, impressive support.
I've used bluetooth and USB teleconference devices for years and I was really excited to get this in for review. I compared it to the Jabra Speak 510 in a series of different call scenarios. **update based on newest firmware, available via the Soundcore app** The GOOD: -The build quality is excellent. It is easy to pair and doesn't try to hijack your bluetooth like the Jabra does. -The speaker sound is excellent and has more dynamic range than the Jabra speaker. -The packaging is top-notch. -The Battery Life is sufficient for most people. -Speaker operation is really intuitive and easy to use. Different microphones surrounding the unit light up according to where it hears sound so you can see which voice it's tracking. The BAD: -The volume step control does not have enough finite level control. It seems to go up by around 8-10% volume per click so it is either 0% volume or 10%, which can be too much, but you can not give it further fine-tune audio level adjustment. It shares the volume gain structure with your device and does not give more precise volume level control when listening to Apple Music/Spotify or Zoom calls. We often times use the speakerphone in the office for ambient music when not in a call and we can't get it quiet enough for low-volume office background music. The lowest volume setting is too loud. -The microphones are less sensitive and are quieter than the mics on the Jabra, although still adequate for daily use in small-to-medium sized rooms. You need to stay about an arm's length away from it or closer for the best results. After a lot of testing, including the new firmware, I am happy to say that Anker entered the teleconferencing market with some work to do but after a few firmware updates, have produced a solid product that I have shared with several other audiovisual professionals who are also very impressed with it's performance.

Having bought a conference phone during covid for working from home I always had issues. Ending up on the headset most of the day. However upgrading to the Anker is a revelation, it works with MS teams with no issues and people tell me the sound quality is great and I can certainly hear call my end perfectly. It seems very well constructed with a high quality feel. It was on offer when I bought so very happy with the price and usual quick and easy delivery. So 5 stars for me.
