We have heavy downpours and needed something for this downspout and didn't want to spend a fortune. I thought this one would work well an the grey color was a few dollars cheaper than the other two colors! You an see in the photo the rain had just started and the second photo is is raining heavier. The other day we had torrential downpours and it shot the water away from the house. If you need an item like this, get this one for sure.

    It arrived very fast and seems sturdy enough, but it is quite longer than it looks online. It doesn’t work where I originally wanted it for but I can use it somewhere else. I would still recommend it for someone looking for something to redirect water from their house. I would also suggest drilling some small holes in the base so you can put some stakes in. This will keep the piece in place during a storm or heavy rain.
