First impressions are good, it works as expected. I also have the 60' Giraffe "Heavy Duty" hose reel, and this one is heavier duty, if that means anything considering they're both made of plastic. This one is smoother w/an easier to install, more stable mounting solution. Hose quality is the same and both work fine. If I had it to do over again, I'd get this one times two instead of getting the 60' one. Hope this helps!

Good hose reel with not so good side panels
The reel seems very sturdy after 1 month of use. No issues pulling the hose out and retracting. It also is easy to trigger the reel to retract or hold. What isn’t good is the side panels which are very loose. One or two clips are always popping out and if the reel is moved a little harder, the whole thing falls off. I’ve emailed customer support and after 2 weeks no response. I plan to call next.

What I dislike: seems cheap - lots and lots of plastic, low grade brass fittings, poor quality nozzle (poorly made and broke without much stress) = see images , the hose is already stating to wear, and it takes a bit of back and forth to find the sweet spot to lock the hose - a minor annoyance.
I am really hoping this lasts more than a few seasons.
