I recently built a powerful PC with a very good graphics card and wanted to try some games on it. One of the games was a racing game (Asphalt 9), but playing it with the keyboard and mouse was very frustrating.
I was looking for a joystick when I saw this racing wheel. I've never owned anything like it and decided to give it a try. I have to say that using the wheel, the game immediately became playable, and I was able to not only enjoy it, but also win the races. Installation of the controller was just a matter of plugging it in the USB port and launching the game. Everything worked flawlessly.
Pros:
- Plug and play, no installation required on windows 10
- Recognized by the game automatically
- Works well and significantly improves the experience of a driving game
Cons:
- Obviously it is quite bulky, so you better have some space for it. I'm keeping it under my desk
- The desk clamps work but are a bit flimsy. During a tough race I pulled it out just by driving hard to a side
- No force feedback
Overall, it is a very nice controller for any driving game.
