Directions

1.Put foot through comfort sleeve to hold brace in place. 2.Pull brace up and align patella opening over kneecap. ACE Brand logo should be on top of kneecap.3. Fasten upper and lower straps to desired compression level. Adjust straps as needed. 4. To use without comfort fit sleeve: Do not put foot through comfort fit sleeve. Align patella opening with comfort fit sleeve over kneecap and follow step 3.

      The Ace Adjustable Knee Brace provides decent support at a nice price, but there are better braces available if you need something sturdy. This brace is more like a wrap or compression sleeve than it is a true brace. It has two adjustable velcro straps (upper and lower) which are fairly thin but do secure nicely. If you're comparing this to the Ace Knee Brace w/Dual Side Stabilizers, that brace has a third/middle strap that closes across the back of the leg where your knee flexes. Other than that, there is not much difference in support between these two Ace braces, in my opinion. The dual side stabilizers on the more expensive brace have been cheapened a bit in recent years so they don't provide as much additional support as they used to (and not more than you get from the regular Ace knee brace). Bottom line, if you just need some basic support and want a lightweight knee brace then this should be fine.

      Not a huge fan of this brace. It slides around and doesn't not feel comfortable. In less than 1 hour, I adjusted the straps twice as the brace was bunched up behind the knee cap. Thinking of returning it and ordering a different type.

      The best thing about this knee brace is that it is easy to put on. You only have two straps with Velcro on them to work with. There is a sleeve inside you can put your leg no in but I found it a little confining so I don’t use it.

      I slightly twisted my knee and needed something that was not too complicated to put on and would stay on and would give me at least moderate support and so far this brace has done well. It was inexpensive as well. The Velcro adhers well and it stays up. I feel more confident walking when I use this brace. There is a hole for your kneecap which is a nice feature as well. This brace should fit most size legs. I take it off at night to let my leg rest.

      So, ironically I think I had purchased this once before and returned it. I have another Ace knee brace that I LOVE but this was not it. I didn't even scroll down the page to see, in yellow to get my attention, that this was one of the frequently returned braces. It does NOT slide over your leg, you need to wrap it around your knee and adjust it. Hence, it really doesn't provide much support. I like the ones that you pull over your foot and up your leg. Those provide loads of support and I own 2. On the up side, I suppose this could be used to hold an ice pack in place if you needed to ice a body part. And I missed the window of opportunity to return it so I guess I am stuck with it. :(

They give good support, my knee was supported perfectly when i when i was injured, and its cheaper on amazon which is even better. The only thing is they must be tightened correctly otherwise they'll slip off the knee when you move around alot.
