I bought this for my garden nearly 2 years ago because I wanted a main hose that would last and not prove a hassle every time I used it, as I've experienced busts, leaks, kinks, knots, etc. with hoses in the past. Granted, I live in the South where weather below 20 degrees is almost unheard of, so the hose doesn't get tested to great extremes. However, the freezes that easily busted my expandable latex (crappy & cheap) extensions off this hose left this one unscathed. So after a year or so, I bought another. Tonight there's a freeze warning, so both of these hoses will undergo something of a test. Of all the things I stand to lose out of my garden, however, I just doubt it'll be these two main hoses. I'll follow up to let you know. The takeaway? Both of these hoses are used as mains--having smaller, cheaper, and more flexible hoses coming off of them, as these mains seem to have sacrificed maneuverability for durability. They are stiff and relatively heavy, and moving them around a lot may be why they did not hold up for other folks, so I suggest running them from the house to some splitters, and using the cheap stuff at the end, knowing you'll probably have to replace those far more often.

    Mostly writing about durability. Purchased in December 2020, outside in the sun and, occasionally cold, never had a single problem. Lightweight, flows enough water-especially compared to those collapsable hoses-and is easy to store. Flexible once the pressure is off, stiff when it's on, which to me helps wrangle around corners. No issues at all, I'll be buying another one this week, the collapsable hose I purchased failed at the connector with no way to repair.

    Just bought this about a month ago so far so good. We go through garden goes every summer due to our very large garden but some just don’t last always get holes in them and don’t hold up we’re hoping this will. We wrap our hose up on a hose rack everytime we’re done using it. It’s not that it’s the dragging them around that seems to make them not hold up as well as you’d hope. It is much heavier than the last ones we bought so we will see

    couple times and the nozzle started having a slow leak. Not a huge deal... I didn't really care for the design/bulkiness of it anyway. My husband and I celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary the end of May. To commemorate the joyous occasion my husband booked us a romantic getaway. Upon our return, I needed to clean out our pool filter. I grabbed our hose from the garage, screwed it in to our water spout and turned it on. As soon as the hose filled I got drenched. It was rather startling... I scrambled to turn the water off to further investigate thinking maybe the nozzle was left in the on position or that it wasn't securely screw together. I mean, at this point we had the hose for about 30 days, used it less than 10 times... surely there's no way the hose had split. Yeah, I was wrong. This hose that's supposed to withstand so much decided residing in my garage and only getting used once or twice a week was far too much for it. Literally split right where the hose begins after the connection to the nozzle.

    So fellow shoppers what now? Went to my husband to let him know that his new hose was defective or just junk. He told me that he thought he paid for the warranty no big deal. I looked into our receipt and for the first time in his life my husband didn't get the warranty... No big deal we've only had the hose like 3 weeks we'll just return it... I wish that was so... but alas we're EIGHT days past the allocated time period for returns/exchanges.

    NOW WHAT? No warranty, we're past return time... what are we supposed to do... We have a useless hose that was falsely advertised as being so heavy duty but didn't even get used TEN times before it split... So alas I'm forced to write a review WARNING BUYERS about our experience. I'm beyond disappointed... Can't believe how little it was used and it didn't even last a couple weeks...
