This thing is the truth!
The title says it all. It has made my life so muck easier. It mulches the leaves up very fine. You will not be disappointed. Only wish there was a battery version because I’m not sure what the power draw is going to look like with 4hrs of consistent use on my electric bill. I plan to use it once a week.

We bought two of these because one of us was using a blower and the other was stuck using a rake. The blower is so much faster than raking. I always use hearing protection when operating equipment so I didn't notice if this was more or less noisy than the previous Toro blower we had. The vacuum worked well to suck leaves out of landscaping that had needles or holly leaves. I was worried about picking up small stones when sucking leaves with the vacuum, but so far no problem. I'm careful to not get too close to the gravel and rocks. One thing that others complained about was that the unit stopped working. When you switch between vacuum and blowing, it is a little difficult to twist the vacuum tube attachment to get it open and also to twist the tube on FAR ENOUGH until it clicks so that the safety switches are engaged. I'm guessing that those that had trouble with the unit stopping working just didn't turn the attachment far enough. I have to use two hands to twist it enough. I also was surprised that the smallest tube didn't seem to increase the blowing power at all. I ended up not using it.

I attached some tongue and groove flooring to the garage wall and hang the blowers with the built-in hangers in the groove.

DO NOT BUY THIS. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY. I bought my first CMEBL7000 on 4/24/24. I returned it the next week. It quit working. I received a replacement, and that didn't work -- out of the box! -- and got a replacement. That didn't work, out of the box, and I mailed it back to Jackson, TN for "repairs". I received this latest version on 11/13. Did not work, you guess it, out of the box. Craftsman is now owned by Black&Decker. Might be issue #1. This latest blower that does not work: on-line, Maryneth asked me to send proof of purchase . . . from Lowes. Then from . . . Amazon. I sent that. Then I was told I needed to take it back . . . to Lowes, then to Amazon. All the way around, this has been a terrible experience, both from the tool aspect and the customer service aspect.
DO NOT BUY THIS or any product from Craftsman. I'll get my latest issue resolved. . . somehow. STAY AWAY FROM CRAFTSMAN. They are no longer the tool maker for serious tool guys.

Bought for the vacuum I use it to get leaves and little twig bits out of my egress window areas. Works great and the catch backpack bag is a great idea allows me to walk around without all the weight on an arm. Vacuum powerful enough to pick up small rocks sounds terrible but no change in performance after several were ingested. Makes yard maintenance easy pulls leaves and junk out of plants and under bushes with ease. I have used the blower function works as it should I do have a backpack blower so I let this unit setup for vacuum. Rugged construction easy to use economical price. I am pleased and would fully recommend

I used this unit only for the vacuum function, and can't comment on the blower. It has very good suction and the bag was quite easy to empty. For the price, I was thrilled. Unfortunately, after less than an hour of use, it died unexpectedly. I had shut it off to empty maybe the fifth bag I had collected, and the motor would not turn back on. There was no evidence that anything had was caught in the impeller (it spun easily when I checked it), and there had been no indication of strain on the motor or overheating. That said, the unit is light and easily maneuvered. It is fairly loud, and hearing protection is advisable. My only other comment is that the chute is fairly short. This unit may be a backache waiting to happen for susceptible individuals over perhaps 5' 8" tall. The main reason to purchase one of these blower/vacs, to my way of thinking, is for removing leaves from shrub beds (eg. foundation plantings). This is not the kind of tool that makes sense for removing leaves from a large lawn (it would be tedious), though it would work well for a tiny yard, especially in a more urban or dense suburban situation where there is no room for mulching and the shredding feature of the blower/vac will reduce the volume of discarded leaves. I purchased this blower/vac to replace a Black and Decker blower/vac that suffered a similar fate. I had only purchased it a year or so ago and this year it would not switch on. The Black and Decker unit was a bit more expensive and probably slightly better overall, but this Craftsman, given the price differential, may be a better value proposition (especially if you are not tall). FWIW, I subsequently purchased a Toro for $99 at a big box store (I needed it right away). The Toro is much heavier, seemed more solid, emptied easily, but it clogged repeatedly and will be going back to the store. Given my bad luck with the B&D and Craftsman units, I think my next move will be to buy another B&D blower/vac and purchase the 3-year warranty (which I would normally never do).

In the last month, I have filled six 95-gallon cans with mulched leaves. I'm nearly done, but I still need about 1 to 1.5 more cans to fill to finish mulching the rest of my back yard. The frontyard is complete and backyard will be done this week and I just LOVE this little machine. Even though this bag gets a bit heavy on you back, this Craftsman 3-in-1 product is a real workhorse and a great addition to my lawn maintenance arsenal. It vacuumed up dry and wet leaves, flower stems and small tree branches/rose bush branches without any issues. It's loud for sure. I just put my earbuds in, turned on an audio book and went to work. No issues there.

The leaf blower/vacuum works well, but it is not very well balanced and is very heavy after using for a short time. I was tired in the arms and shoulders after vacuuming only a small area. i have a large yard so this tool would be good if you rake all your leaves up into a pile then go at the pile with the vacuum. but to vacuum a yard, its not a big help like i thought it was going to be.
