I bought a couple of these heaters for my two aquariums and i must say, they are a good deal for the price. They heat up the water quickly and maintain a consistent temperature, which is what I'm looking for in an aquarium heater. The adjustable temperature control makes it easy to set the perfect temperature for your fish. My neighbor has some tropical fish that require warmer water than mine (he thinks they're more exotic), but this heater can handle it no problem.

Purchased on Jan 29. Seemed to work fine and hold temp around 80. Went away on vacation Feb 7-15. Came back home to find the water gone in the tank. We keep about 4 gallons of water in our turtle tank which has never been an issue in 6 years with other heaters. Heater malfunctioned and basically boiled all the water out of the tank. Not sure how the turtle survived but he did. The tank water filter burned out due to no water left in the tank. House smelled like burnt plastic. Could have caused a fire.
