***Update: 7/17/22 After 7 months of gym use, I'd probably rate 4.5 stars. The battery last a while, maybe 3 workouts. I like that it shuts itself off automatically if I forget. I clip this Mp3 player on my pocket. Its easy to forget its even there. In my home gym, I run it right into my old school stereo system (3.5 mm to RCA).
Nov 2022, near 1 year review: Still holding up and working properly. Considering buying more as Christmas gifts. Battery life is still great, haven't ran out of juice yet. Internal storage is more than enough for me. Maybe 4.7 stars.
The clip: So far, it has stayed in my pocket. When I exit the gym, I made it a habit to continue playing. If the music cuts out, that means it's still in the gym.
*Note, do not leave this on a fast charger. I did it before and fried a previous unit. Just a regular 2.0. It doesn't take long to charge.
I hope this review helps. I've been using this brand for a decade, this is my third. Though this model cost a little more, I like it best. If your serious and really aim to get the most out of your workouts, I recommend this. I've noticed so many people that bring phones sitting down doing little. Sadly, this reflects their performance and appearance.

BT isn't the latest, it's a little weak in the car and drops connection sometimes, not sure why.
One complaint is the lack of an equalizer - highest volume setting is barely enough for clarity outside or in the shower. But then, I haven't been completely happy with an MP3 player since my last SanDisk Clip+ died, and I'm not very good with compromise. That said, this one does lock if you hold down the left function (?) button and unlocks the same way. Setting a shutoff time is a lot of button presses but it gets automatic after a month or so LoL
Overall, good for my use - took a star off because the volume control rocker won't just roll up or down with a press. You'll have to press the rocker to display the volume, THEN you press again to change volume. Annoying, but less annoying than the earlier version of this player IMHO.
SIX MONTH UPDATE: This morning, the clip snapped off when I used it. I thought it was loose, but one side of the swivel is broken. As a "clip" MP3 player, this device is now worthless. No warranty information available. Removing as many stars as possible.
I bought this as a back-up/workout digital audio player (DAP) because I don't want to take my Fiio M9 to the gym, or carry it around while doing yardwork. The AGP A65 DAP is very small and super lightweight; I hardly notice it clipped to my shirt. The fact that it comes with 32 gb internal storage means you can use it right away, and add the microSD card later, if/when you need it.
The interface is very clunky, and not particularly intuitive. The display is small -- to be expected -- and looks kind of cheap. Maybe a cheap display uses less power?
Battery life: Seems to hang in there. 3 workouts of 1.5 hours each, and the battery had gone down 1 bar.
USB connection: Micro USB, unfortunately. Really wish it was USB-C, like most of my other devices.
Sound quality: it's okay, whether using wired earbuds in the gym or yard, or over-the-ear cans at home (tho the latter was just to try it out). Nothing to write home about.
I use only wired earbuds, so can't speak to the Bluetooth difficulties some others have reported. Nor have I tried listening to FM radio, looking at pictures, or watching videos. (Seriously, who in their right mind would want to look at photos or watch video on a screen this tiny and lo-rez?)
Some people see the "drag & drop" method of music management as a plus; I do not. I'm still running iTunes on my older Mac, and I have a lot of playlists. The thought of manually creating playlists on the device, one song at a time, makes me feel nauseous. I had the same issue with the M9, and discovered Dapper, which solves the problem. It lets you transfer music and playlists from iTunes to the connected DAP. (I'm sure there must be similar solutions for Windows users.) The first transfer of a large collection is s-l-o-o-o-w, but later updates aren't as bad.

I would suggest don't run after their Bluetooth feature and buy this junk. Rather buy SanDisk or sony mp3 player if you want to save your ears
Reviewed in Mexico on July 15, 2023
File transfers to the device is slow. Seems like the onboard memory card is pretty slow.
Sound quality wise over Bluetooth is the same as any other Bluetooth device no surprised there.
The Bluetooth range is pretty bad which is not surprising as the device is so small you don't want to put a powerful Bluetooth chip which will drain the battery. I can understand they chose to have the better battery life over long Bluetooth range.
The attached clip seems to work pretty well and keeps the device secured to my t-shirt when I'm running.
Overall pretty happy with it. I bought it to use for running and I think it's a much better product to the iPod shuffle which I was using before.
