Really like this. I just made my first batch of cheese fondue tonight and it turned out great! It does get hot enough to make the fondue in the pot, you do not have to make it on the stove first like some reviewers said. Just add your wine (or whatever liquid you're using) first and get it get good and hot before you start adding cheese. It took about 15 min to heat the wine. Then add the cheese in batches. Actually gets so hot I had to blow out the candles near the end because the cheese was starting to burn.

Overall the set is very sturdy too. The fondue forks are really nice quality. Much better than I was expecting. Very happy with my purchase, I'll definitely get a lot of use out of it.

The fondue pot is nice and appears to be of good quality. It is however very small and not sufficient for a large gathering in my opinion, so I recommend a lower price point than what it is typically listed for. The fondue forks are also miniature in size. The issue I have is with the base. I find it to be of poor quality. After washing when unpacked from the box, I noticed the underside was already beginning to rust. Not acceptable since I planned to use this regularly. It was washed by hand and set on the dish rack to dry.
