      This was just what I needed. My walls were pretty full so I needed something closer to the mic, opposed to getting sound board. Its a little heavy but it does a great job isolating the dryer noise in the next room. Even if you dont mount it to the stand, it works great on the desk

      I tried adjusting the stand so it is a bit taller on my desk but the screw that is supposed to tighten the legs when you adjust their height, doesn’t tighten anything at all so it ends up sliding back down. The foam piece is good for avoiding reverberations but it’s also wobbly on the stand so you can’t lean your arms on the table while recording, otherwise it wobbles and makes noise. I’m not sure if I want to keep it or not. It’s also not compatible with other desk stands or suspension stands that I’ve tried.
