great bag marres by cutting corners

great bag marres by cutting corners
one of the velcros for the interior shelf panel tore while holding a 6 pack of beer. i had thing on the bottom to even hold it up, but it was not enough. the problem is the velcro strips are held directly to the thin thermal material with a single line of stitching. it can be repaired & made stronger with extra fabric underneath the thermal material & 2 lines of stitching. i will take this further & add another velcro strip in the middle of the platform & on the inside of the bag. i might even make another half sized platform if I'm feeling extra extra. there's not a whole lot of other options i could find so this is probably your best bet. just be extra careful of putting weight on the top.

4.0 out of 5 stars yes can fit 20x20 pizza box multiple in fact.
Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2024
love it. What I needed was something that I could secure to my 150cc scooter and also carry at least one 20x20 pizza. stays dry in the rain. zippers are nice and big with 2 hooks for locking. the metal grate is exactly what I needed to help secure the box to my bike. the bottom part of the box comes with 4 back pack clips that you can just clip to the grate and makes it easy to take on and off if I need to pickup the whole box from the bike. driving around in rain products say dry and hot ones stay hot. The box is the same as in the picture. I have not used the back pack straps but they look big and padded. The inside straps the hold the door flap are super useful and probably my favorite feature I added my own reflective tape. The reflective spots that it dose have are good and shiny. The only "defect" or this could be operator error, the inside liner has 4 zippers for the inside padding but no spot for the zipper to reconnect if you un do the zipper all the way so it caused problems getting the " walls" in so I left mine out. the box still stays in shape just doesn't have the plastic insert walls. I also didn't use the divider as advertised just because I prefer the open space of the box to use. 100$ feels like a lot but over time I think it pays for itself. Even if I'm not using it for delivers, being able to get a few bags of groceries and have a space for my helmet is for sure worth it. It seems like it will last longer than a year. I could see it working for at least 5 without having to alter much.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very large bag
Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2023
If I can get 2 more of the pieces to snap my bag to my bike I'll be good. It's missing 2. Everything else is perfect. Going to use my bag to doordash on my ebike. Will post a video on here once I can get it secured for deliveries. I'm creating a youtube page also. Will change my review once and if I get the missing pieces.

Update: I got the pieces I needed. Bag is well worth the money and they customer service took care of me!

3.0 out of 5 stars So far, so good (Updated)
Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2023
Pros: This thing is huge. Like, HUGE. If you ride a bike, and wanna deliver groceries, this bag can make that happen for you. I’ve fit the giant bundles of paper towels, extra-large jugs of laundry soap, and more in this bag all in the same trip, with room to spare. I like that it comes with a suitably large mounting rack, since it is near impossible to find such things for sale in America, as we lack the bike courier culture other countries have. Clips on and off the rack very quickly, very easily. The included cup holder also works surprisingly well, despite looking questionably effective. Zippers have holes for easy padlocking, and adjustable shelf is very sturdy.

Cons: what others say about build quality? Yeah… I can see that. Mine doesn’t have any problems, but the quality of materials do not exactly inspire me with confidence I will be using the same bag in five years. I wish that colors other than black were available without having to order in quantities of five, and I wish there were more reflective strips. Also, it would be nice if the backpack straps were removable, or able to be stowed in such a way they didn’t flutter about while riding. I will never use this as a backpack, so they’re really just a nuisance. And while the adjustable shelf is sturdy, it can be kind of a pain to get it positioned properly in the bag.

Verdict: For the price, the quality of the bag is questionable; however, there’s nothing else on the market that comes close in sheer carrying capacity, and I feel that’s what you’re paying for.

UPDATE: So after just a few months of sporadic use, here’s an update. First, the left strap that holds the door up when you open it has come off. Turns out they somehow managed to stitch *around* it when assembling the bag, and it was simply held in place by pressure when leaving the factory. Second, my zipper is starting to have problems as well. Snags and hangs up in several spots when opening. But to its credit, I have been doing bike deliveries down into the 30’s, often across town, and my food ALWAYS gets where it’s going still very warm (in fact, so warm the steam from the food often pops the “quality seal” stickers right off the bags, making it look like I’m tampering with customers’ food. Oops!)
