Mid, had potential
Purchased for a new fireplace, thought it would be solid based on reviews- just needed a straightforward set. Everything comes in pieces- you have to screw on the handles, screw together the stand, etc etc The brush piece does not make sense... There's a cover that makes the brush more aesthetic but it comes off and there's no discernible way to attach. It just floats around on the stick?? And it's incredibly difficult to attach. And the brush is bent/rusted ... The base/stand is also impossible to put together. The pole is threaded to screw into the base but it doesn't go in all the way. It's solid- nice heavy material, feels good quality. But these issues make this a mid/3 star at best.
