Another excellent product from Hygger. It worked great and was just what I needed for controlled vacuuming of my nano tank. The clip was perfect for holding the hose in my bucket on the floor. I can’t wait to try the other attachments. I did cut one of the tubes shorter so I could attach the vacuum nozzle and be short enough to maneuver in my bookshelf tank. Since I have no plans of returning it it’s fine to customize. This tip might be useful for someone else who needs a shorter wand. Highly recommend, easy to use, great quality.

Siphon Principle
The siphon principle need to pay attention to the water level of the water inlet and outlet: at least 19.7in. It can also be used when the water level in the fish tank is only 6in high, and can run to the lowest water level of 0.8in, meet multiple usage requirements.

How to gravel sand washing operation
Connect the outlet hose and inlet tube.
Hold or pinch the suction ball.
Get the gravel to tube(not too much); Move left and right to clean; Lift up and down to replace gravel; Wash in this way all the time.
The impurities on the gravel flow out through the outlet hose with the water flow.

YOU NEED THIS.
I’m allergic to fish. Any product that can help me get the job done without needing to come in contact with my fishy is golden. (Pun intended) This is the 2 buck chuck of water changers. I’ve gone through three of them (pricey ones) and none work as quickly or efficiently as this one. I have a 5 gal tank sitting on an upright piano and the height is perfect for the siphon. Didn’t have to snip the cord or anything, it perfectly curls into a white designated bucket. I was also afraid that it would drain too quickly and put my little Clyde in jeopardy but NO! He’s a dirty little thing- this Picks up all the junk while sucking out water at a good pace. After I’m done, I dump the dirty water onto the grass and give it a little rinse with the water hose and sifón that it out again to get the gunk out, before letting it air dry for a minute. So easy y’all. Idk why I couldn’t upload a picture I previously took of the product with the bucket but I uploaded one of my tank for reference. This product is a saving Grace for me, thank you so much.

The aquarium gravel vac looked great taking it out of the package. High quality plastics, assembled easily, looks to be durable, but operation was a total let down. So glad I got a chance to use it before the return window closed. Never have I gotten as much water on the floor or struggled as much to clean the tank. The primer bulb situated at the top of the tool makes the overall length difficult to manage. Can't see what the gravel vac is doing if I stand high enough on the stool to manage the tool. It has a check valve but seems to function poorly so hard to prime and need to manually pinch the hose closed between pumps. The tool has this odd angle where the hose connects which means the tool cannot go lower than the highest part of the aquarium so you can't reach inside a partially drained aquarium for better control. Shut off clamp included does not clamp off the flow. Which is actually good because if it did the leak in the hose connection somewhere near the top of the tool would break the siphon. Even the bucket clamp was hard to make stay attached and trying to re-prime the tool midway due to the leak squirts water everywhere.
Everything about this product just misses the mark!
