The 3/4" line runs 50' in lake then 25'
uphill and into cottage. TIPS: Throw away the rubber gasket that came with pump, and just use a tube of "gasket maker" on each piece to be connected on front of pump, wait two minutes before assembly, then tighten the two bolts. SECOND , in order to prime the pump, the 1 1/4" plug in top of pump is where you must pour water in to prime it. You must install a check valve a short way from the pump. The small hole is on top of pump is an air bleeder. You CAN NOT PRIME PUMP USING SMALL HOLE. At the bottom of the hill, I cut the 3/4" pex line and added a tee, and a gate valve with a female hose adapter. By connecting a hose I was able to fill the entire line with water before priming the pump. I ran a dedicated 110 volt line from panel box. The pump should be on its own 20 amp breaker. It runs fine on 110, but it would be better to run a 240. Last thing, the pump is wired for 110, but if you use 110 there is a little switch you move to 110, it comes set for 220. The cut in pressure is 20lbs, cut out pressure is 40, so the air tank needs to be pumped up to 18lbs. The pump works fine, great value for the money. I also purchased a separate kit with pressure gauge, relief valve and tee for connections to pressure tank. I made the job easy. I started by using 8 large cinder blocks stacked 4 wide and two high for a platform. Five stars for the pump!!!!

This well pump is quiet and runs as it should. BUTT it is not the powerhouse I was expecting. MY old one horsepower pump that this one replaced filled the 20 gallon pressure tank 5 gallons a minutet. The best this one does is TWO GALLONS A MINUTE . I will change the EJECTOR to see if that helps. 11/29/ 23

This is a good quiet pump that pulls water up my 30 ft. well. The pressure switch is set to good numbers.

Easy installation. I added a faucet before the back pressure check valve so I can use city water to prime the well and pump. I use the pump for sprinklers. I opened the outside sprinkler faucet and the primer faucets, connected by a hose to the city water. (I added a washing machine double female ended hose) Waited for water to come out the sprinkler faucet, shut off the city faucet (at the well pump) turned on the pump and got the system going on its own in only a few seconds.

My old dead pump used the same fittings so all went fast and easy.

I wanted to use a longer power cord but the screws wouldn't budge. The switch comes set for 230V. Its in the large box. Lift the wire bundle to get to the switch.

Unfortunately the return window has closed or we would have returned it.
It makes a horrible noise every time it turns on. It has begun to not work after just a month of installation. just making noise but water does not come out.

Used to replace an old Sears 1/2hp deep well jet pump. It drew same amperage as 3/4hp so went with that model in case new 1/2hp was under rated. The psi adjustments and wiring options were straightforward.

I left it 120V, also used existing jet and saved included jet for later. Finding tapered thread barb fittings was a struggle. Heated new plastic lines with heat gun and installed everything. Primed pump and it pulled water up 80’ within a couple minutes.

Has ran several thousand gallons and still going strong. It is quieter than old pump and it pressures up fine. I did notice slightly lower volume than previously when spigot is wide open but it is consistent and reduction is not significant.

Takeaway, I’d buy again. Make sure your psi bladder is set properly. You may want to upsize to match your amp draw. If I wasn’t in such a hurry to get water going again I would have ran it on 220.

Pump was very easy to assemble, the price was perfect but my well is a lot deeper than 90 ft so I need to get another one but I would highly recommend this pump.
