Great Doggy Pool…for “normal” dogs
This was a tough one to rate. As it is advertised, probably deserves a 4-5 star, durability the same but, as the title says, this was a better idea than actual solution for my dogs (or, dog here) who’s not normal in any way, nothing she can’t kill and apparently wanted to prove it brought scores down to a (to be fair) 3 star.I have a 90lb working Dogo Argentino that’s just about 18mo old, still in that puppy phase. I have spent $29.99-39.99 on those little plastic “kiddie pools” for years for my other dogs each summer (we had 61 days over 100 degrees this summer, 40-45 over 100 is average). With my new pup, I’ve gone thru 4 of those plastic pools in 2 summers, she thinks there a toy.Saw this on Amazon, read the reviews, and for opening day of dove season when she’s at home, I wanted to buy this for the pup (Pure Rebel…way too fitting!) to cool off in for the day. When it came in, I loved how compact it folded down and the sturdiness of the sides gave me some more hope. I got the largest one so she’d think it was a wading area which she does like. Filled it up the day before I’d be gone most the day and she liked playing it in. Next morning, filled it up to the top, left at 4:30am to hunt, got home around 3pm and this is what I got (see photos)…When I was able to see how study the inside was, although rare, it did surprise me how badly she destroyed it. Now for a review for those with “normal” dogs. It’s built well, better than those plastic kiddie pools and only $10 more. I will say this one was in less pieces than the last plastic kiddie pool I had out beginning of summer (that lasted about 3hrs). Different and larger sizes give you, your kids or pets more room to wade in. As hot as it gets here, when Rebel is out of here “I wanna bite and kill everything!!!” puppy phase I’ll probably get another one to keep her cool in those hot summer months.So, to sum it up. 100% of dogs will love it. 99% of dogs will love to sit/swim and cool down in it, that 1% group like mine will love the challenge of something larger to rip to shreds. Heck, she had 5-6 different bones/tug toys and everything else to go at, they were still good as new. Lol I can’t find anything except a real in ground pool that would work right now. Maybe next summer…we’ll see if she calms down a bit more (fingers crossed).

Love the product, and she does too!
Bug, easy to drain, easy to set up and use! Only minor issue is that to finish the last bit you do have to tip it over. That being said it is not heavy at all so it’s pretty simple. She ate through the last one, and the material with this one is much more robust!
