Not worth one starNot sure if Foresight was bought by Bushnell or if it is just a partnership, but Bushnell has made a mess of it. I have worked in part of the industry that provides the hardware for devices like this, and that gives me some insight as to where the problem is. It is in the validation of licensure and usage rights for the device.You are not just buying a piece of hardware; you are getting some hardware and a base of functionality. Then based on what subscription you purchase, you will be given more functionality. You see 100% of the functionality is in the device, just locked by software. It is the constant verification of what you bought and have the rights to use that is not working properly. When it works, it works but good luck getting it to work.I have owned a Foresight GC2, the model just before this one. Everything was seamless, from purchase to setup, to continued use. No malfunctions, no glitches, no bugs. It worked.The software and subscription matrix with the GC3/ Launch Pro product is currently under construction and until that is cleared, expect significant delays.UPDATE 11/1/2022Still will not work. Spoke to support and it is clear they are clueless. Tried to get me to do all of the things I had already done several times.Update 10/3/2023So I was finally able to get this thing to work reliably indoors only and connected to a computer. It still would miss shots completely but I found that if you connect the hardware direct to your WiFi then navigate the menu and force it to validate your subscription. You will have to do this every 45 days. It wont warn you or tell you, it will just start to miss every shot. You will just think it is broken. I figured this out on my own.Well recently it was missing shots so I knew it was time to force it to validate. While doing so I saw that there was a firmware update available. Like a fool I updated it. Now, in true Busnell fashion, it broke, I get the error shown in the picture.The documentation claims this is a hardware failure of one of the LED unitsHowever the only thing that changed was the firmware update.I would have returned this thing right away, I bought it however through my Wells Fargo card rewards. A return is not an option.Note.. The review showing Martin Borgmeier is deceptive. The audible that you get comes from what looks like a flight scope.Note 2. The reviewer saying all the one star reviews are user error. As for me, I was in the tech business and worked as a programmer for a company that manufactures programmers that sit in an assembly line and program microchips as the come through. These are several 100 thousand to a million in cost. We developed a validation system to verify licensure for these programmers.I also have owned several launch monitors. A Vector Accusport, a GC2, a Flightscope. I currently have this Bushnell/GC3 and a Flightscope Mevo +.There is no user error on my part.Another update.2/3/24Sitting in my garage going on 30 minutes now trying to get a session going.It just does not want to connect tonight.These guys have made no progress and we are into several new firmware versions.

    I love the idea of a semi-pro launch monitor. Better than the cheaper priced options, but not as much as a Quad or Trackman.
    Regardless of how much you save, it doesnt matter when you cant use it.
    This thing misses SOOOOOOO many %^&$% shots, its frustrating. Im using a Garmin Approach R10 in its replacement. I still have this thing in my garage, and EVERY TIME I try to use it (hopefully new firmware fixed issue) - nope. Have had this since May of 2022, bought the original Gold Sub $700, and its just been sitting there doing not a damn thing. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

    After purchasing the simulator you’ll need to purchase the subscription of $600 to get the full use of the product. You’ll also need a gaming PC with a NVIDIA chip not AMD along with a i7 processor with 16 gbs of ram…. Can’t use Mac- Bushnell/foresight like why? The iPhone and iPad apps are a waste of time. This is not a friendly plug and play product it’s more frustrating than a bad round. Garmin here I come - 10x more friendly and just as good if you’re not a snob. This product is terribly frustrating and will be returned tomorrow.

    All user error. This machine is an absolute beast. There isn’t a device under this price point that even comes close. Basic plan and gspro is the way to go. Fsx is garbage. I had a skytrak for 4 years and this thing is miles ahead of that machine. Very very impressed with it.

    I went from having a SkyTrak to the Bushnell Launch Pro. SkyTrak was fantastic but was lacking in clubhead data. That is where Bushnell Launch Pro excels. I was having issues with short chips and 60 degree wedges being captured by SkyTrak. Bushnell Launch Pro picks up those shots with no problem. Whether it is heading to the golf cave and looking at the numbers right on the screen itself or using software to play courses while acting as a golf simulator, I could not be happier.

    As for this machine, it's really great. This machine is amazingly accurate shot-counting in my house. I have used SKYTRACK before. I was tired of doing terrible hook and slice calculations and it was a machine that didn't help my golf skills one single way. But BUSHNELL is really good. Everything is accurate and it is helping me a lot with the direction and accuracy of my shots now. The downside is that you need a good PC to operate this machine.
