I was surprised by the firmness of the seat and back of the chair. I guess I expected more cushion. However I replaced a 17 year old couch with two chairs, so it definitely an upgrade. Electric recline works smoothly. I'd like the arms to be a little higher, but again it an improvement from what I had, arrived quickly in one box. Just slide on the back, plug in and you're set

Love the feel of the material. Easier to get out of than other chairs. Not hard on the knee, hips, or back. The depth of the seat is larger than I expected. You may need a pillow for comfort. Love the electric switch for reclining. The outlet for charging my phone is excellent. I do not feel a bar or board when I recline without the pillow. Comfortable to sleep in. Easy to clean stains and vacuum. I have not had any issues with this chair what so ever.
I have had the chair for almost a year. One issue the cushioning in the leg area and seat are flat. I don’t understand why that has happened. Less than a year of durability.

Fabric is holding up well after almost 3 months of daily use. It is comparable to some lay-z-boy fabrics but a little thinner, soft but not so much that it is plush, feels good.

Butt area has a strong springy cushioning to it, everything else is padded. If you have a sensitive tailbone I would recommend adding a small extra cushion to the seat. I actually consider this a plus as it won't compress over time and need maintenance.

The recliner pops out the legs first, then tilts back. This feels a bit backwards to me but it works well enough. The problem is you can't just drop the legs and climb out of the chair.

The chair tips over very easily, especially when reclined. Leaning forward any more than straight upright is likely to tip the chair forward with no warning and no way to catch yourself. It can also tip sideways but you get an opportunity to correct as it will stop partway.

If you need to get out of the chair in an emergency and don't have time to drop the legs, the arm rests are only padding so you can roll out sideways. But you have to be careful with your center of gravity as you could make it tip sideways too.

The chair also can wobble side-to-side, it doesn't give a very sturdy sensation. This isn't noticeable under normal usage.

The construction of the chair overall seems very solid and I don't expect it to fail for a long time unless abused. The motor seems robust and the reclining electronics seem fully enclosed.

I am 6 foot tall and the chair is slightly on the small side for me. I would recommend non-sliding lifters for the chair if not strapping it down onto a 2x4 frame to prevent it from tipping, but it can be used as-is if you are careful.

Overall great value but I wouldn't buy one for an elderly person who can't risk tipping over.

I love this chair. Beautiful grey fabric.
The cushioning is very soft and comfortable. It does not take up a lot of space. Something I wasn't able to detect well on pictures is that this chair does not have true armrests. It turns out that it does not pose a problem for me. When I rest my arms down, I'm comfortable and the area feels plump. The leg area is wide and very cushiony as well. In general, this chair feels like a large comfortable bean bag, but one you can easily get out of. I'm very pleased with it.

Chair is comfortable, works as intended. Has low side armrests. Chairback broke in less than three months where the wood uprights connect to the metal quick disconnect. Disappointing but I guess not unexpected given it's cost.

The Good..the fabric and color are nice. The power up and down is great but thats about it. I bought 2 of these and they look nice but they are small. I’m 5’6” and my legs hang over the footrest about 12 inches. If you fall asleep in them and roll on your side they tip over 😫 there is a hole in the fabric where the up and down buttons are and its on both chairs so its a manufacturer’s defect. Not very happy with these, wish I had not bought them, can’t return them as I purchased them a couple of months ago when my house was being remodeled and just took them out of the boxes this weekend. Keep looking

Update: March 2024 One year later - Recovery was much easier because of this chair. I’m 5’7” and feet don’t hang over. I used pillows on footrest part for a few months. I exercised some in this chair. I used my ice machine in this chair and the lack of chair arms made that much easier. I slept in this chair and now, it is my favorite chair even after healing.

March 2023 My wife is using this chair for recovery from Total Knee Replacement. It has electric buttons for raising and lowering, it is cushioned well, she sleeps in it at night and during the day. She likes this chair better than the old handle pull chair, which she can’t use during recovery. Customer service was outstanding and we couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase!!! Thank you!!!
