My grandpa is on hospice and still feeds himself, but it’s often a challenge and can get messy. He’s not a big guy anymore (about 120 lbs now), so these are a bit big on him, but it’s not a problem - much better than too small!Thin and lightweight, easy to use, convenient snap-up function on the bottom to help catch rogue fish sticks, and easy to clean by hand or in the wash. They’ve help up well so far after several weeks of use with a tiny bit of pilling on one of them (which doesn’t bother us at all) and no noticeable fading. Great value for the price.(Only two pictured because the 3rd is in the wash.)

    Our patiient likes to wear them daylong to protect against spills and also likes the patterns that look like shirts he used to wear back in the day.

    Small issue for us: Because they are light weight, smooth and long, they sometimes shift a little too easily for patient in home hospital bed, so crumbs might fall on sheets. Probably not a factor for most, and we would still buy and recommend them. No problems sitting up at the table.
