Codeship

Business Software IT and Operations
Description
Codeship is a platform built for safe, fast, and reliable Continuous Integration in the cloud. The service delivery through Codeship is continuous meaning that the various developers feed codes into a... depository that they share with one another. Once the codes are in this repository, they are verified and tested automatically for simplicity. The CI technology has been widely embraced in various fields because it helps in the software development process. Codeship facilitates continuous deployment and delivery of developed applications. Through this, developers are able to push their codes into the production stage in case they make any changes that need to be implemented. This is also helpful since the developers can easily solve the problems that arise from the use of the software. Codeship applies a technology that makes it fast and easy to find malicious threats like bugs. Codeship Pro and Codeship Basic are the two major products available in the software market. Each product has features that are from the other, which make it unique. Codeship Pro provides the Docker Support that gives the user a complete autonomy. On the other hand, Codeship Basic provides a Pre-Configured CI environment. Read moreless

Overall Opinion: The infrastructure of Codeship is optimized to enable you to control the builds. This implies that your team of developers does not have to wait. Your work is easier, better, and high standard because with Codeship, you can control how you style the software. It changes the work environment in an amazing way since the software development process is fast and effective. Its integration with GitHub and Bitbucket is complemented by its support for multiple programming languages.

Pros: The continuous integration of codes facilitates a quick detection of errors. The detected errors can be easily located for correction because identifying the change that brought about a defect is simple. Continuous deployment and delivery allows software developers to release high quality applications fast. The status of the software developed can be checked and updated with ease if need be.

Cons: Even if you locate the defects like bugs, Codeship does not help you to get rid of them. General
