Overall Opinion: This mobile app is one of the most useful tools in the Google family since it gives those with Adsense accounts the ability to track their earnings in real time from just about anywhere. If you've already got a Google Adsense account, the mobile app will provide you with all the most valuable information about the account that you would want without having to access the account from a desktop system. One of the most interesting things about the Google Adsense app is that it gives you the chance to edit the speed at which it refreshes the data it conveys. If you want frequent updates, you can set the data to refresh every five minutes. Those who only want staggered updates can save on data usage by limiting data refreshes to once per hour or even less frequently. When you open the Google Adsense app, you'll be able to view the amount of revenue you've earned from ads in the previous week, month, or even just the last 24 hours. If you take advantage of custom channels through the Adsense system, the app will give you custom data about those channels. Such data includes performance metrics for each ad so you can tell which ads are earning the most and which ads could be revamped. You'll also be able to take advantage of payment alerts in this version of the mobile app. The Google Adsense app home screen includes a brief summary of the earnings that you have received in the default time frame. The summary shows several of these frames, and it gives an estimation of how much income you've earned on each day. Your Gmail account acts as a beacon that tells the app from where to collect data, and it can use multiple email addresses through the app settings menu. It doesn't take much knowledge to use the app since everything is fairly straightforward and intuitive, but the app includes a thorough help section for those who have trouble or want to know more about the software. Since the software is meant as a mere monitoring tool to supplement the use of the desktop-based Adsense system, it doesn't have all the complicated or advanced features that you'll find in that original base version. However, this doesn't mean the app is useless, and many people will enjoy being able to quickly and conveniently monitor their earnings. It's possible that the functionality of the app could be extended with updates in the future, but it's unclear if the software will ever match the web-based version.
