Overall Opinion: Have used Airfoil for windows for many years without undue problems. I stream audio to three Airplay enabled speakers. However now that Airfoil for Windows is no longer supported I am also using a very good alternative software called Tuneblade.

Pros: Still very good at connecting Airplay devices but no longer supported.

Cons: Served me well would still be using it, however lack of support may cause difficulties in the future.

John MacDonald is using Airfoil every other week since at least a year or more.

Overall Opinion: Airfoil is brilliant...the biggest plus is that you can control more than one speaker when listening to Spotify...something you can’t do using Spotify app alone...had it for years and it runs 5 speakers around the house both independently and individually.

Overall Opinion: Airfoil is a multi-device enabled software that supports, Apple TV, Airport express, Bluetooth speakers, chrome casts, IOS devices, and PC both Mac and Other models. The application allows sound from any audio source and routes the sound to any medium of choice. The outputs can be more than one. Therefore you may choose which gadget to play the music and as well can modulate the sound production of the devices. Airfoil satellite is an inbuilt module of the application where you can get music remotely from either an iPod from home or a remote PC and play it on an IOS device, computer or any other devices that one may choose. Cons 1. Airfoil can only play support audio files playing in iTunes. It means that if a file format is of supported by iTunes, Airfoil won’t be able to play it. E.g., windows media files

grex is using Airfoil every other week recently.
