Strava Reviews
We have 3 reviews for Strava. The average overall ratings is 2.7 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: It used to be the best option thou they have recently removed segment analysis from the free version, this was their main draw for me to allow me to compare segments from my previous attempts and with my friends
Pros: Simple interface and great social aspect. Shoe mileage tracking is very useful feature and it integrates well with Garmin
Cons: To many features removed from free version now, no segment comparisions and route planning removed too
Overall Opinion: I would like to search my own Strava feed/Diary. All of my settings are already in private mode. So, why can’t I search my own feed?? I can search my diary in SportsTracker app. In fact, I can sort my activities by title or type ie. hike, bike, kayak etc. I don’t want to have to go back to SportsTracker. I would rather stay with Strava. I need to be able to see my own feed/diary/history so I can reference/compare my own stats. How/When are you going to remedy the search feature, Strava?

Overall Opinion: Strava is an excellent fitness tracker app that gives you an edge over the competition simply because of how insightful it can be. It records times for bike rides and runs, and it even connects with others using the app in your area so you can see how well you do compared to others on the same stretch of pathway. Unfortunately, to get these features from the software, you are forced to give it several pieces of personal information, and the software doesn't particularly handle the privacy of that data very well as it transfers across the networks. You can use the Strava mobile app with a huge range of fitness tracking devices. This makes it much easier to use the app since you don't have to carry a large phone with you while you run. You can download the app in both Android and iOS versions depending on your platform, but to get the experience of the software as it was meant to be used, you'll have to make certain pieces of your personal data public. One of the most troublesome for most users is the geolocation data used to calculate your progress compared to others on the same path. The app is based on the freemium model, which many users don't particularly enjoy. There are limitations in the free app, and you don't get any of the more advanced statistical data or some of the more useful features. The free version is fine for tracking run or bike times and finding new routes for your exercises, but those who want to compete at a professional level will probably want the detail of the premium version. The premium version is priced at $7.99 each month, or you can opt for an annual subscription for just $59.99 One of the most interesting and appealing features of the Strava mobile app is the new Suffer Score. It requires the use of a device that monitors heart rate, but with that device and Strava, you can gauge the effectiveness of your workout based on how long you exerted yourself and you much effort you put into the exercise. Many users find this to be an attractive feature because it allows them to put a number on their workouts, which in turn motivates them to improve that number. Other premium features include leaderboards, sports equipment discounts, training videos for indoor exercises, and much more. Considering the price of the software compared to others in the same category, it is a solid choice in spite of the privacy concerns that have not been met by the developer.
Pros: Multiple Features Community Support Works w/ Multiple Fitness Tracking Devices
Cons: Some Privacy Issues Expensive Subscription for Premium Version
