Overall Opinion: On the surface, Amazon Video appears to be good value for the money...until you see the cons. The very fact that they force me to put 200 characters in this overall opinion is indicative of what you can expect if you subscribe.

Pros: Amazon Prime offers a fair selection although much of it is older content.

Cons: It is difficult to find a "Watched Recently" video to make it easy to resume watching if you've left it and come back, as there doesn't appear to be any such a category. Worst of all is its practice of letting you watch a video or a season and then suddenly preventing you from watching others in a series without paying additional fees. They don't even give customers a warning of this nefarious gouging practice. Time for me to find an alternative.

Douglas K James is using Amazon Video almost every day since at least a year or more.
