Overall Opinion: For a typical monthly subscription fee, Hulu provides content with advertising interruptions that are about the length of typical broadcast TV interruptions. Users who would rather not experience these advertising interruptions can purchase ad-free service for a larger fee with the small caveat that some programs still have short ads at the beginning and end of the shows. Overall, compared with other streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, Hulu has a smaller amount of original programming, which can make it somewhat less attractive than other services. Plus, it also tends to release its programming on a weekly basis, which means users must wait until the entire season is released to binge watch the shows. However, users who want to watch network TV shows will appreciate that Hulu is the best place to legally stream these new episodes each week. Hulu certainly provides a solid choice for people who want to stream TV on demand to any device at any time. Occasionally, Hulu does not deliver HD quality streaming, which can be a problem for users who demand HD quality. The service's newest option, Hulu's Live TV, is in beta testing and offers viewers the ability to view TV live as an alternative to cable or satellite service. With a free trial that typically runs two weeks, users will be able to try out Hulu to decide if it's a good fit for their needs.

Cons: Commercials and ads even on the highest "ad-free" subscription. Spotty HD availability. Releases original content weekly instead of an entire season at a time. Clunky web interface makes watching on a computer difficult. Rather small movie library.
