Overall Opinion: I've used vudu for years. In fact, I've purchased 1620 titles on vudu. That's over $16,000 worth of movies and TV series. With that many titles it's difficult to keep track of them all. Recently I accidently bought a second copy of a movie I already owned. Within 2 hours I realized my mistake, and requested that vudu customer service delete the 2nd copy of the movie and credit my account the purchase price. Vudu "customer service" didn't respond to my request for several days. When they did they said they would delete the second copy of the movie, but would not grant a refund or credit for the purchase. I realized that vudu.com has NO customer service. I will never buy another movie from vudu!

Overall Opinion: Vudu for the most part is great. But if you buy a bundled package of movies and they come out with another sequel, Vudu will screw you financially. I bought the Jurassic World 4-movie bundle. It included the first 3 Jurassic Park movies and the first Jurassic World movie. Then they came out with the 2nd Jurassic World movie and I wanted to include it in my bundle. I like having my movies organized like that. So I bought the Jurassic World 5-movie bundle. Vudu used to refund me my money for the 4-pack bundle and they would remove it from my account. Now they no longer do that. I’ve upgraded 4 movies to newer bundles with the new sequels in them. It’s taking forever for Vudu to remove the old bundles and they refuse to refund me for the old bundles. So I’m being screwed financially because they are greedy. When the 3rd Jurassic World movie comes out next year, I can either waste a lot of money buying the Jurassic World 6-movie bundle and not get my money back for the 5-movie bundle or I’ll have to buy it separately and it won’t be with my other bundled movies. They don’t care about making their customers happy, all they care about is screwing us financially.
Pros: Lots of good movies at good prices. You can watch the movies anywhere and you don’t have to keep track of DVD’s or Blue Ray discs.
Cons: They don’t care about their customers and they enjoy overcharging us with the bundles like I said in my overall opinion of Vudu. I have over 100 movies with them but they’re treating me bad and they ate screwing me financially because they are greedy!!!
Overall Opinion: At first Vudu was perfect so that I could buy movies online and not have to keep track of DVD or Blue-Ray Discs. But their customer service has gone downhill really fast. They don't care about their customers anymore, only profit.
Pros: It's nice to be able to buy movies and watch them online any time that I want to and not have to worry about keeping up with the discs or losing them.
Cons: They screw you financially big time!!!! I prefer to buy movies in bundles, that way I have all of the sequels in one place. But when another sequel is released, you either have to buy it separately and VUDU refuses to move the sequel in to your current bundle, or you have to buy the bundle again with the latest sequel and VUDU refuses to refund you money for the original bundle because it's been over 30 days since you bought it. Sequels are often released years later, most certainly more than 30 days after the previous sequel. They do this so that they can get more money from their customers, one way or another. I bought some updated bundles with newer sequels in them and then I found out that they refused to refund me for the original bundle. And they also refuse to remove the old bundle from my account. So I have several movies on my account more than once. It's a huge waste of money and it's extremely frustrating, but VUDU doesn't care at all!!!!! I'm still looking for a better alternative to VUDU, but I have over 160 movies and 38 seasons of TV shows that I've bought on VUDU. Despite this, they still don't care about screwing me financially at all!!!! I REALLY do NOT recommend VUDU to anyone!!!!!!!
