Overall Opinion: Constant buffering during recordings and live tv. Nonexistent support/customer service.expensive and extremely poor value for money. Intolerable! Complete waste of time and money. Definitely cannot be recommended!
Pros: With constant buffering there’s nothing to like. It used to be better but now seems a complete waste of time and money.
Cons: See other comments. Constant buffering during recordings and live tv with loss of volume. Nonexistent support and customer service.
Overall Opinion: i am a filmmaker and submitted my content to filmon when there were quite new. Over time, they stopped replying to my emails. THEY ARE STEALING MY CONTENT NOW WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT! They are crooks. I don't know what to do. My content is getting viewed every day, and they are making money from it. Any ideas on how I can get justice will be appreciated. Thank you.

Overall Opinion: When you first download and install FilmOn, you'll notice that there are hundreds of channels that are completely free, and many of those channels are actually streams of live radio. There is also a plethora of free content that is always available on demand. If you don't mind paying a bit for a premium service, you can also watch live TV channels and take advantage of digital DVR functionality so you can watch a live program at any time after it airs. Videos can be recorded and replayed in superbly high quality. Thanks to the support from the DLNA, FilmOn can now stream content directly to other devices, and it can even stream to multiple pieces of hardware at the same time. Just about any device that can be connected to the internet can work with FilmOn, including tablets, mobile smartphones, computers, smart TVs, and over-the-top service devices like Roku and Chromecast. This added functionality means you can watch your content on just about any screen in your vicinity. You are no longer forced to watch your content only through your desktop. If you want to take advantage of the DVR functionality that can be used with live TV, you must buy a subscription for the service. While this sounds like it might not be a great option, it is surprisingly affordable since you only have to buy subscriptions for an hour of DVR time at a time. If you only want to rent a single hour of DVR utility, you can maintain that hour for as long as you like and populate it with any content you like, as long as you don't exceed one hour. You could probably make things work with just a single hour if you often catch up quickly, but multiple hours will be required if you want to save more than one or two programs at a time. FilmOn is an exceptional platform for the distribution of digital entertainment. There are more than 700 channels from all over the world available through the system, so you can surely find something that piques your interest. The FilmOn library of On Demand content contains more than 45,000 videos, so you won't have to worry about running out of good content any time soon. Since the software is fully portable, you can take your favorite pieces of entertainment with you no matter where the road takes you.
