Overall Opinion: I do NOT, will not use this "a couple of times per year." Won't use it at all. I thought I'd give it a whirl before purchase. I spent some time putting a few pictures in a simple video, got the timing just right with the music and tried to save it. Can't save as an MP4 or avi. Can't have more than 10 frames; I had 11. I didn't need the opening frame, but couldn't remove it. Mistakes are hard to fix; I had to start over several times. As to customer service, I mean PRE-customer service. Your descriptions do not mention the limitations of the "free" product.

Pros: Simple, but unattractive interface, making one question the program's ability to assist with design.

Cons: Product descriptions not complete nor transparent. No "undo" option. Editing features pretty obscure.

Willo Oswald is using Icecream Video Editor a couple of times per year recently.
