Overall Opinion: MiXplorer is one of the most efficient file managers on the market, and it has all the basic functionality you'd expect from such a platform. You can easily cut, copy, and paste files from one location to another, and you can drag and drop them as well. Folder layouts can be altered through the app, and the integrated search tool makes it easy to find anything at a moment's notice. The software is also capable of extracting content from compressed files, and it can compress files into archive formats as well. Some of the compatible formats include ISO, ARJ, RAR, GZIP, 7z, TAR, ZIP, CAB, and many others. If you take advantage of cloud storage services, you can connect those accounts with your MiXplorer app. You can use the app to manage files in several of the most prominent storage platforms, including Mediafire, HiDrive, Mega, 4Sync, Dropbox, Yandex, Box, Google Drive, and Baidu. The interface even comes with an integrated FTP/HTTP server. The content previewer found in MiXplorer is another bright spot. It allows you to view images, GIFs, and other multimedia found on your system. You can also use it to listen to any local music files. If your device is rooted, MiXplorer can help it even further. One nice aspect of the software is that you can change the theme at any time by selecting a new color. This is simply another way the software can be customized. If you want to enable, disable, or organize any of the action buttons or menu options, you can easily do so. Drag and drop is easy since you can open as many tabs as you like, and you can use Dual-Tab mode when the mobile device is in landscape mode. Options can be applied to every folder individually, so you can view and sort each folder as it should be. The software includes a bookmarks panel that allows you to catalogue vital information, and the integrated HTML viewer is compatible with Markdown, AXml, and MHT. It also supports many of the most common eBook formats, including PDF, CBZ, TIFF, EPUB, and XPS. Anything that you change in the software can be exported and then imported again for consistent utility across all platforms. Zip files can be modified with the software, but root access is a necessity for any advanced functions in the app. With a rooted device, MiXplorer can provide data backup functionality as well as management for both the overall system and each user on the system.
