Overall Opinion: Though many businesses don't like to admit it, time is money. That's why it's so important to keep track of employee work times to ensure that everyone is given their fair share. Time Cockpit is an excellent choice for organizations that are serious about having a modernized time clock. The software comes equipped with an excellent graphical calendar, providing a colorful and organized user interface instead of a confusing list. The calendar can be used either offline in the client or online in an internet browser. It provides month, week and day views to allow precise control over any level of detail. The graphical view allows users to immediately see if any scheduling errors have been made, such as overlapping entries and missing time slots, thanks to customizable colors. Interacting with the calendar is simple, as it employs a comfortable and familiar drag-and-drop interface. Entries can be copied and pasted as well, providing quick scheduling for workers who often work the same shift. As one might expect, the calendar automatically integrates with Microsoft Office Outlook. Appoints made in the popular office software can be converted into calendar time sheet entries with very little effort. Probably the most impressive feature of Time Cockpit is its ability to automatically track actual work being done on a computer. Incoming calls and opening emails are timestamped and automatically inserted into the calendar as a note, allowing administrators to monitor employee work and workers to review days to find out when they did something. The calendar also provides some analytics tools, such as finding out the difference between scheduled working hours and actual hours worked. Visual graphs will help workers keep track of their schedules and working hours, even accounting for vacations, holidays and sick leaves. Pricing after the free trial is 31 cents per day per user, adding up to about $9.54 per month per user. This lets the software work just fine for any size business, since the pricing scales according to user count. Invoices are made monthly.
Pros: Time Cockpit Rather powerful monitoring tools for such a small price
Cons: Seems to lack a lot of expected built-in integrations. For example, there's no native integration with Google Calendar or similar cloud services that are commonly used in the workplace
