This is why it's so desirable to just download the videos that one plays on a very regular basis. We've all seen youtube Red promising us this feature if we upgrade and try it out. Did you know that people have essentially been using third party options to override youtube and download their favorite movies since back in the PC days? They absolutely have! Tubemate is the type of option that they turned to. Let's take a look at what this app has to offer. HOW DOES TUBEMATE ADD UP? Tubemate offers many of the youtube downloader features that users in the know have grown to expect. It's easy to use. You simply search for your video, and then simply click a green arrow button at the bottom of the app's screen. This brings us to our second expected feature; video quality. After the user hits the green arrow, they will automatically be instructed to choose the appropriate video quality settings. After these two simple steps, the video begins to download onto the memory card of the user's phone. It's literally as easy as that. It's tough to judge exactly how one youtube downloading app will stack up against another really. They all work quickly and allow the user to choose his desired video quality. Tubemate is certainly one of the most talked mobile options, however. While we don't necessarily agree, some critics consider a few of the competing options out there to be too difficult to use. Overall Opinion: I have used this app almost since its debut. I used to really enjoy it, but now I see it as intrusive and annoying. The app is now SO riddled with incessant advertising that it actually is occasionally rendered useless, freezing mid performance because of multiple advertisements struggling to load at once. Virtually every single video I click on is first preceded by an ad amd quite often in the middle of that ad a FULL PAGE ad pops up over it! I'm now searching for a new platform. I use a torrent app to download documentaries and in the time it takes Tubemate to download a 20 minute video, my torrent app can download a documentary that is a Gig! Skip Tubemate and look for another app!

Pros: It downloads videos.

Cons: Intrusive and over the top advertising and constant prompts to Upgrade..CONSTANT!

Who Knows is using TubeMate almost every day since at least a year or more.
