Overall Opinion: I like Ardour not only because it's an open source programm but also because it has so many features that you can practically use it for everything. It runs without any major problem in every operative system, but it has more compatible plugins in Linux.

No matter what level of musician or sound engineer you are, it never hurts to have some reliable software available. Several of the software's features stand out as incredibly useful, including MIDI multi-track editing and mixing, which means that you can record and edit several tracks at once or put together several tracks seamlessly. Ardour is also great for collaboration, allowing multiple groups to work on projects at the same time from different locations. This added collaboration leads to endless creativity and is crucial for up and coming musicians today.
