Using it everyday and I really like Sublime

Overall Opinion: I use Sublime almost daily and I like it very much. Sublime itself is great, but another universe of possibilities comes with the use of plug-ins. They are easy to install and offer pretty much every feature I use regularly: SFTP, Git, Crontab (highlighting), Dockerfile syntax highlighting, HexViewer and Pretty JSON. I have a few more installed, but use them less frequently. These plugins allow fast and effective work.

Pros: Syntax Highlighting and Command completion Plug-Ins General Workflow (e.g. multiple selection) Snappiness even with large files

Cons: Nothing really, although the 'Goto Anything' field lags sometimes, so instead of a fast git commit the 'Goto Anything' filed closes and I write the command in a file that is open.

L4chsalter is using Sublime Text almost every day since at least a year or more.

My Opinion on Sublime Text

Overall Opinion: The right text editor can make a coder's life a whole lot easier, and Sublime Text is regarded as one of the best in the business. Those outside the development business may have trouble telling Sublime Text apart from a basic notebook app like that found standard on Windows OS. But beneath its stripped down interface, Sublime Text contains a whole host of features designed to help coders prototype and test scripts quickly and with less errors. When writing code, the last thing you want is distractions, and Sublime is pleasantly free of unnecessary graphical bells or whistles. Starting up the program for the first time will simply display a black window with a navigation bar at the top. Things become more complicated once you start a project, but the whole affair is still incredibly streamlined. A tab on the left displays all your folders and files, making it easy to jump between various scripts and components in your project. The middle panel displays text interfaces for all of your open files, and a panel on the right helpfully lists all the shortcuts. Experienced coders will recognize the efficiency that CLIs can provide, and Sublime puts that efficiency front and center. You'll find all the standard features you'd expect from a text editor right out of the gate with Sublime. Syntax highlighting and autocomplete are enabled as soon as you start the software, and dozens of coding languages are supported. Sublime will automatically color code your content, making lines of code more easy to scan with just a glance, and you can use code folding to hide away unnecessary components in your current script and instead focus on the task at hand. Everything works as expected, and the shortcuts are both intuitive and valuable. One of Sublime's greatest strengths comes from its high level of customization. As an open source project, there are always plenty of plugins available, meaning you can create a Sublime experience that's tailored to your needs and the exact specifications of your project. Given the options available, you can even scale up Sublime to serve as a simple but fully functional integrated development environment. The scope and cleverness of these plugins is stunning. On a purely aesthetic level, a number of themes are available that you can use to create an environment that's tailored to you. But this focus on creating an experience tailored to the user extends to the basic package as well. There's a lot of control in how you display the files you're working on, whether that means maintaining four separate panels so you can cross reference information or relegating other files to tabs so you can get a more detailed look on a single, large document. Sublime Text also features powerful search and replace functions that allows for case sensitive targets, regular expressions, and entire words.

Pros: Gives users a great amount of control over their interface Incredibly lightweight and responsive Plugins really enhance the experience

Cons: Can be intimidating to new users Lacks a decent Git plugin

grex is using Sublime Text every other week recently.

Overall Opinion: love it because it loads all tabs after relaunching, use it for more than 3 years, and totally fine with this app. very flexible and easy to configure for your needs. Remember all changes even before you save the file!

Pros: easy to use, it means a lot for me. As I told already, the main benefit for me is loading all opened tabs after the laptop reloading

Cons: didn't find anything, can't say any negative feedback
