CPU-Z Reviews
We have 2 reviews for CPU-Z. The average overall ratings is 3.5 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: A very important piece of information missing: temperature. In contrast GPU-Z gives you CPU temperature which is amazing given the fact is about the GPU not the CPU. It is like a bikini. What shows you is important but what it does not show you is essential.
Pros: Gives you a lot of information: number of cores, technology, core voltage, Cache size, core speed, you name it.
Cons: Doesn't give you what is maybe the most important information: CPU temperature. CPU temperature is essential when it comes to CPU health.
Overall Opinion: It is not uncommon for people to want to see details about how their computer or device is running, especially when they feel it is not running as fast as it should be. This is why CPU-Z is such a nifty little tool. It exposes just about every detail imaginable about your device, including how fast it is and how much resources it is using. It also provides benchmarks so that you can compare your device to another. While much of the information it provides about Windows computers is available within the operating systems itself, CPU-Z puts all this information in one place. It is especially handy for Android devices, as much of this information is not so easily accessible within the operating system. Best of all, the software is completely free to use. This does not mean that CPU-Z does not have its drawbacks. First of all, if you use a Mac, an iOS device or Linux, you are out of luck. It does not support these operating systems at all. The other big drawback is that the Android version of the software is missing vital features, such as the ability to do benchmarking and the ability to save reports. The Android version also displays ads, which can be annoying. Though you can remove these through an in-app purchase.
Pros: Completely free to use Provides very detailed information about your device and presents all this information in one easy-to-read place Works on Android devices in addition to Windows PCs
Cons: Does not support MacOS, iOS or Linux The Android version does not have benchmarking or the ability to save reports The Android version has ads
