Overall Opinion: With Icons8, you can easily find any icon you want and use it in your Xcode or Photoshop project. You can use the icons in just about any piece of software that can work with PNG files since that is the standard format for the icons in this app. With various sizes for each icon, you'll be sure to find what you need for your project. Icons can be dragged from the app interface so they can be easily inserted anywhere you like. Unfortunately, there are no free vector icons in this app. However, you can access them through the app if you are willing to purchase them for a small in-app fee. If not, you can stick with the tremendous selection of free PNG icons. It takes only a few seconds to search through the entire library, and it takes even less time to insert one of the icons into your project. The great thing about this app is that every free file is on the disk once downloaded, so it doesn't have to be connected to the internet. You can even use the Finder to sort through icons if you have such a utility on your system. There are various tags that go along with each icon, and you can find entire sets of icons by searching for related tags. For example, if you need an icon that looks like a letter, you could search for any keyword in that category and find other icons as well. While PNG is the free format available through this software, you can also download icons in one of several vector formats, including EPS, AI, and SVG. These must be downloaded and purchased separately, but they can be accessed through the Icons8 app. The Mac version of the app requires at least OS X 10.9, and you need a 64-bit processor to get the most from the software. This newest version of the software includes a new pack of icons called iOS Glyphs, and these tab-bar style icons were created and released by Apple. This new style doesn't have the same thin outline as their old icons. Instead, these new glyphs are completely solid. There have also been several improvements to the user interface to make sure the experience of using the software is as smooth and fluid as possible. If you need access to a wide selection of digital icons for various purposes, this is the application you should use. There are icons for just about anything you can imagine, and they are almost all free to use.

Pros: Multiple Free I
