Overall Opinion: You can simulate a large number of cloud or on-premise MQTT applications in a single box. Also, it is easy to test your MQTT applications and demonstrate your IoT servers and managers. Simulate dynamic messages in two message formats like text and JSON like real IoT devices. And also, it is easy to configure IoT events with your predefined dataset using CSV Importer.

Pros: Supports testing of Azure, AWS IoT, Google IoT Core, Bevywise IoT Platform & all standard MQTT Implementations. Bulk creation option to simulate tens of thousands of devices in a single box. Automatic response engine to configure the IoT device response. supports simple text and more complex nested JSON, JSON array data simulation. Configure IoT events by uploading pre-defined data as a CSV file via CSV importer. Advanced testing with python interceptor for device behavior.

Cons: So far I have not found any cons.

Adrik Boris is using IoT Simulator every other week since at least a year or more.
