Monosnap Reviews
We have 5 reviews for Monosnap. The average overall ratings is 2.8 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: Usual good software has at least one problem that makes your disappointment immeasurable. For Monosnap it is a damn memory leak.
Pros: -
Cons: -
Overall Opinion: Since the last big update, monosnap is now impractical. The price is 36$/year for a simple (s)ftp upload..
Pros: -
Cons: -
Overall Opinion: Whoever wrote one of the cons was the program seems difficult to use at first must not be used to user-friendly apps. The interface is totally common sense and intuitive. So maybe people used to using Windows will have problems as it does not take a bunch of memorized steps in order to use? Fast, easy, common sense, no manual or instructions needed. Incredible someone makes a program like this nowadays as everything else seems to be full of nanny-type "are you sure you want to..." garbage.
Pros: -
Cons: -
Overall Opinion: I am running into thorny problems installing Monosnap. I keep getting messages about unexpected problems after installation. I used to use it all the time. Now I can't. Microsoft's suggestion for a fix simply does not work.
Pros: It used to be great.
Cons: But now I can't install it any more and the problem as to why is not properly explained. The "Unexpected problem" after installation has not been properly explained. The supposed remedy recommended by Microsoft does not work!
Overall Opinion: Over the years, there have been many screenshot software options designed to optimize functionality while reducing activity. All of them work the same on paper, though not all of them produce the same results. One of the first things that individuals will notice when they start using Monosnap is the quality of the screenshots. They can be as precise or as specific as desired, allowing users to adjust the window on the screen so that everything they want captured can be saved. With all kinds of quality-of-life features, such as cropping and overlaying, available whenever the user wants, it has never been easier to hop into using a simple and effective screen-grabbing program. And the best part of all? The program doesn't interfere with anything that you have on your screen at all. Simply have it up to take the screenshots and then proceed to edit them as you'd like later.
Pros: The interface provides individuals with a fast way to capture the screenshot exactly as they desire, allowing users to specify what part of the screen they want to include in the screenshot. An editing system allows users to adjust the final product before they categorize the image itself, making it easy to edit and highlight as desired. By creating an account with the software system, users can find all of their screenshots stored to the cloud, available for their viewing and editing as desired. Customizable hotkey options allow individuals to set up a system of use catered to their personal habits and degree of comfort.
Cons: The program itself may seem unapproachable at first, especially to those who are used to working with simpler systems. There are many features to take in, and it can be a while before the user feels as though they have sufficiently mastered the program. The rich features may be difficult to use at first as well on an individual level. Users may need to practice and experiment with some of the features to get the hang of them.
