Description
Desscription: Payhip is an online marketplace where aspiring retailers can sell their digital wares. Review: eBay may have the market when it comes to the peer to peer sale of physical products, but ...Payhip is positioned to replicate their success when it comes to digital products like ebooks, music, and videos. They realize that just because an object doesn't have tangible form doesn't mean it's not valuable, and they've managed to build a sensible marketplace that offers facilitates practically any non-physical product you can imagine. The advantage of the Payhip platform is its flexibility. Artists of any stripe can get their product out there without having to worry about gatekeepers or middlemen, and the lack of need for a storefront or physical inventory means that costly overhead is a thing of the past. Payhip essentially gives artists an unprecedented amount of control in serving as their own editor and marketer. For retailers, Payhip serves in a capacity as an administrator. Hosting, payments, and security are all handled by the Payhip team, leaving the creator with full control of how to price, advertise, and present their products. Easy sharing functionality means that you can easily promote your storefront simply by copying your store link and posting it directly to your social media profiles. Payhip tries to make the process of getting your store up and running easy. Account management is simple and standard, and you can connect your PayPal or Stripe account to your store in a matter of minutes. From there, you can continue to the process of building your storefront. Uploading your materials is as simple as setting an uploaded from your private device or cloud storage service. Payhip gives you the convenient option of offering your products in a variety of formats, and they promise that they can deliver retail products to consumers regardless of the device they're using. Payhip gets that businesses, and especially small businesses, live and die on the quality of their PR, and that's why they offer a variety of tools for spreading the word about your store. Payhip saves the information regarding every customer who makes a purchase from your store and relays that information to you, expediting the process of creating a mailing list. All retailers also get access to a robust analytics dashboard that helps you track where your sales are coming for so you can better adapt to the needs of your clients. A particularly clever function in the Payhip toolkit is the ability to offer discounts to prospective customers who spread the word. You're in control of the discounts you provide and the circumstances that justify them. Payhip's payment model is designed to scale with your business' success. They charge a flat 5% commission on every sale they make and never charge setup costs or monthly fees. Read moreless

Overall Opinion: Its exactly as Oche wrote: Payhip support is nonexistent or at most rudimentary, even during workdays. Otherwise, it would be a fantastic product to start and operates, only my customers failed to buy and download the book-there is no BUY button, or any instructions. www.Payhip.com brings one to the sellers page, giving all the confidential info to the prospective purchasers. How, on earth, can one BUY anything there? Does it need some special trick? Be warned! PL
