Overall Opinion: Simple Sticky Notes is easy to use. It is a downloadable program that will place itself on your desktop application bar. When you are ready to write a note, you simply click on the icon. If you need to access a note, you just click on the sticky. When you no longer need a note, you can quickly delete it, so there is no clutter or mess to ever worry about. Different fonts can be used, graphics added, and so much more. You can do more with the notes than is possible with the paper variety. When you do not need to look at the notes, you just minimize the app and then you do not have to worry about it any longer. That makes this program appealing to many, and the free price tag even adds to that incentive.
Pros: No Cost, Free Download - Simple Sticky Notes is free to download, and there are no add-ons that require purchase. This makes it is easy to decide to try out the program. Like it and use it, or give it a thumbs down and simply un-install it. The developer does accept donations if you wish to send in a bit of money for the program. Simple to Use - The program does not contain a lot of features, so it is very simple to learn how to use. Every aspect of the program can be learned in the first one or two uses. No Physical Clutter or Mess - Contary to the paper variety, these sticky notes disappear instantly when the user asks them to. There is nothing to throw away, and the notes will never be in the way if you do not want them to be.
Cons: Limited Functionality - While some cool features, such as typing in different style and color fonts, can be done, there is not much else that makes this program compare with some other notes based software on the market today. Only Works On Desktop Computers - Simple Sticky Notes only works on a desktop computer. So, you will not have access to your notes if you are working on your mobile device or tablet. Lack of Mobility - Whereas paper sticky notes can be moved anywhere around the home or office, notes on the computer are limited to that platform.
