You can add tasks and reminders on the go using the stand-alone mobile apps that synchronize with the web version of the software. The software allows you to take notes within tasks and set up recurring reminders for daily, weekly or monthly tasks. The Microsoft application is free to use and includes a lot of customization options to make the application your own. Review: Microsoft To-Do has all of the basic features expected from a simple to do list software, but lacks extra features available in other to do list applications. The software allows you to create a list of tasks, and separate these tasks into categories of your choosing. Each category can be customized by choosing a color, theme or background picture, but the number of customization options is lacking. To help you stay on track, Microsoft To-Do has the capability to create due dates or reminders for tasks. You can also add notes to tasks for any further details you need to remember. Smart Suggestions gives your helpful tips for tasks you may need to reschedule or add to your schedule for the day. One of the best features of the software is its integration with Outlook Tasks, and the future possibility of integration with more Microsoft applications. Despite these basic tools, the Microsoft To-Do application is lacking some major features. There are no collaboration tools, so you cannot share tasks with others.
