Overall Opinion: This the best note system I have used. Will not use another. Both wife and I also use notezilla on her iPhone will I use on my android phone. I have tried others.....but this still is the BEST!!
Overall Opinion: I love to-do-lists and use Todoist and Evernote zealously. These have reminder functions of course as do many other apps. If only I would look at these lists and these reminders... For me, what works best is sticky notes on my screen. What makes Notezilla so useful, is that if I make a note on my phone it will pop up neatly on my desktop screen when I am next in the office. And it will stay there until I actually do what it says. A thought pops up in my head whilst at home doing the dishes (ahem)? Hey, a quick note in Notezilla and the next day it's there for me, no forgetting or ignoring possible.
Overall Opinion: I LOVE Notezilla! You did a great job developing it. I've used sticky notes on my Windows desktop before, but I kind of lost interest because they didn't offer enough variety in color and appearance. That really matters to me. The biggest advantage, though, is being able to sync the notes between my desktop, iPhone and iPad. That makes my life easier, which makes me very happy!
Overall Opinion: Good tool indeed for sticking notes in folders. What's lacking however is an online backup which can be synced to all devices - PC, phone, tablet. If you reinstall Windows for whatever reason, you will not be able to sync your notes to your phone without losing your notes in your computer. Only online backup can solve this problem.
Overall Opinion: Notezilla is an excellent replacement for Stcky Notes. I love that you can pin the note (like a password for example) to stay on the sceeen even if moving through multiple screens. A must for those that want reference items to refer to where on other screens. Mobile apps are really helpful if away from the regular desktop routines. Excellent product for the price.
Pros: Can "pin" to the screen for reference or notes as needed for multiple applications. Notes sych to all devices and computers. Real plus.
Cons: Right now I can honesty say it does what its supposed to do. No cons at all.
Overall Opinion: I've been using Notezilla for awhile now. I really like the convenience of a single click & I know the note will stay where I put it with the information I typed into it. The other program I tried couldn't guarantee that for me. I don't use the sync option though. I'm a miser, lol. I can use the android and pc versions on their own for free, though. The BEST thing is the customer service. When I send them a question, they reply really quickly, and a SUPER helpful!
Pros: Customer service. Convenience & ease of use.
Cons: It's a subscription to use the syncing capability of the program. I can't fault them for that though. They gotta pay bills too.
Overall Opinion: I really like Notezilla. It has all the necessary features needed. I especially like that I can stick Notezilla to a website, or a windows of my choosing. This flexible was what I really needed and Notezilla delivered!!!! The other features that I like is the ability to change fonts, colors and skin. It really simple to use but yet very powerful and robust.
Pros: 1. Ability to stick the note to a windows or website of my choice 2. Ability to choose skin, colors, and fonts 3. It has the check box features that allow me to check off the "do to list"
Cons: The only thing I see that needs improvement is the delay in which the note disappears when I go to a new windows that I did not stick a note to. The original window (for example: Snagit Editor) that I has stuck the note to had note and when I open up a different window (Windows Desktop) that does not have the note, my original note that was stuck to Snagit Editor still appears for a short period and then disappears afterward. There is a lag. Aside for this small minor nuance, I highly recommend Notezilla.
Overall Opinion: I used various note-taking, sticky notes apps and applications. Ended up here and till now I'm excited about NoteZilla. A very user-friendly (sticky) notes app, which resides in my taskbar and which functions flawlessly. It took me a few days to get really used to it and everything explains itself. In my daily practice it's very useful and you're there with just one click! What really made me a huge fan of the app was the syncing option: I crashed my computer, lost quite some -unsafed- stuff. Not Notezilla: installed and started the program and got all my notes safely back! I'm loving the app!
Pros: Userfriendly. Rich text editing. Fair price. Syncing and not losing your notes ever.
Cons: As a graphic designer I'm not wild about the design; especially the used colors.
Overall Opinion: One of those people with sticky notes all over my desk. Work from home (online business) so I am constantly having to keep track of misc. tidbits of info and reminders. I have tried different calendars, etc, but none let me keep lists or reminders the way I work. One of my big things was To Do checklists that I could keep on the desktop easily without having another program always open or having to bring something up. I have tried some of the other "notes" programs but they either didn't do what I needed or they did not have an actual checklist feature. One of the things I "didn't know I needed" was the ability to carry my notes with me. This lets me access them from my smart phone. The sync option is great! $29 for the first year seemed a bit much when I first saw it (only $15 each year after) but after using the free trial, I was hooked. I knew that when I went to make a new note and the popup reminded me that my trial had ended. I decided to wait and see if I really wanted to invest in it. But a few days later, having encountered that popup several more times because I was now in the habit of using it, I decided that it was definitely worth the price. I mean, $2 and change for the first year and $1.25/mo after that? For something I am using several times a day, it is, as my wife says, "pocket change". Kudos to the team and I highly recommend!
Pros: The ability to easily size the notes, change the colors and do checklists. There are some that are free, but none had the options I wanted.
Cons: None that I have found.....yet.
Overall Opinion: This is a useful app for the daily use. It includes several smart features and each Sticky Note can be password secured. Easy to operate. Very important: excellent customer service with help anytime! Price? - it's worth it!
Overall Opinion: This is a true sticky note application. On your desktop and visible or low visiblity as much as you want. It helps keep one focused on the task or tasks at hand or just to make a note to store for later. Onenote and Evernote are more like journals, whereas this is perfect for just notes and reminders.
Pros: Easy to use and very flexible. Plenty of guides and help. Many categories, designs, colours, reminders and transparency settings if you wish, and it keeps deleted notes in case they need to be referred to or retrieved. Syncs across devices for those times when your not in the office.
Cons: No downsides at all
Overall Opinion: Of course I tried to find a open source note pad stuff but none really did the job. I wanted reminder notifications, etc. I did not mind paying a one-time minimal fee. I would not have paid ongoing. I don't do sofware like that... but this stuff is really good.
Pros: Reminders and the ease of formatting on the note itself. I use it kinda like a calendar. I put notes on my desktop for upcoming events etc.... even if I also put them on my calendar.
Cons: Probably my fault... but when I get a reminder I would like it to continue reminding until I answer it... even if that is hours. Maybe I can set it up to do that... but haven't really spent that much time.... not much of a con really.
Overall Opinion: Despite the large amount of free sticky notes applications available, Notezilla has a ton of extra features and tools that make it worth the price tag. One of the more unique features is the ability to pin a note to a specific web page or window, which means you only see the note when this window or page is open. The only downside to this feature is the two to three second lag time for the note to show up on the page. One of the features that makes Notezilla the most useful sticky notes application is the ability to sync notes between multiple desktops, smartphones and other devices. This allows you to see important information wherever you are. Notezilla also makes it easy to organize your notes with the Memo Boards and Notes Browser features. These features give you the option to sort notes into different boards, and allow you to filter and search for specific notes by tags or labels. You can also add due dates to certain notes and receive alerts when a due date is getting close. Despite the high price, Notezilla provides a ton of unique features to help you organize a large amount of information, and with a 30 day free trial you can see if the software program fits with your needs.
Pros: Can attach notes to certain web pages or windows, as well as organize them into Memo Boards Offers a ton of customization options for each note with a variety of fonts, list styles, and backgrounds The Notes Browser makes it easy to find notes by tag or label, to search for specific notes, and filter by a certain topic Can sync sticky notes across devices, including your smartphone device with the free app Allows to make custom note sizes to best fit your needs Free trial allows you to try out the software for 30 days before purchasing
Cons: Price is quite high, especially considering you can download a free sticky notes application Notes pinned to web pages or windows can take a few seconds to show up
