Overall Opinion: This is the best note-taking app I have ever used in compared to any other note taking app Like for example when compared to Google Keep • This can be used as a device app instead of a web version so that I can take and save notes offline • This has folders and subfolders(notebooks and subnotebooks) • It has more text formatting and markdown(this is useful to me as I store my notes as markdown and view them with an extension • It allows exporting a notebook as any kind of file which is not available in Google Keep and when compared to Sticky notes from OneNote • It has folders and subfolders • It supports markdown so there are more text formatting options • I visually like it But the only problem it has is it is not so good with cloud sync. It takes a lot of time to sync. I have connected this with my dropbox but I can't get the sync as soon as I edit or create something. I can't even see the new note I created on my mobile on my desktop.
Pros: • Github Markdown • Cloud Sync(but poor) • Ease of use
Cons: • Poor cloud sync • You can only post 14 times in their forums per day to suggest features and get help • Have to download 140 mb file everytime when updating (and updated frequently) (no inbuilt update button) • No local data, I cant save files in desktop or somewhere else, feels like losing my notes every second
