Overall Opinion: Would be a great app, but they put the most basic features, such as being able to use any types of formatting, including bold or italic fonts behind a subscription paywall. I wouldn't mind paying a 1 time fee to unlock some basics, but that isn't an option. In fact, they used to offer a lifetime pro version, which they screwed over their users with when they added the subscription model. People who had already paid were forced into paying again in the subscription model.

Pros: Nice UI

Cons: Literally everything else sucks

My Opinion on Journey

Overall Opinion: Journey is a great app for anyone to have. Journey allows you to keep track of whatever goes on in your head from wherever you go. Because Journey syncs your data to Google Drive and allows you to open it from wherever you want, you never have to be worried about losing an idea or memory due to a lack of a pen or paper. In the long term, Journey helps you grow as a person by giving you the benefit of clear hindsight in all of your memories. Scrolling through your journal with Journey is sure to take you on a trip as features like the added date and weather are added to your posts. If you like something that you write in your journal, Android users can easily export that journal page to social media to share with all of your friends. Very few journal apps are as immersive and helpful as Journey.

Pros: Journey allows you to keep a journal wherever you go, allowing you to hold onto your precious memories or on the fly ideas far away from home. Journey adds several features to your journal like weather and time to make the experience of reading through your journal far more immersive and realistic. If you like something that you wrote in your journal with Journey, you can easily export it to a social media app where you can then share your writings with all of your friends, making the app more open and collaborative.

Cons: Only Android users can post their journal entries onto social media. Apple or other users will not be able to take advantage of this feature, although they still will likely be able to use the rest of the app. If you maintain your journal on Journey for a long time, it can be easy for your journal to get cluttered and difficult to navigate through. There are some times where the weather or time put on your journal entries may be incorrect, likely as a result of problems with your device's systems as opposed to problems with the app.

grex is using Journey every other week recently.
