Overall Opinion: If you often find yourself switching between several different document viewers, STDU Viewer could be the solution you need. It is compatible with a huge range of file formats, so you won't need more than one viewer taking up space on your system. In the modern digital age, it isn't uncommon for new file formats to be created. In fact, new formats are introduced all the time, and those formats often require specific players to view. Since technology often evolves too fast to keep up with itself, it doesn't make much sense to create a player that is designed to work with a single format. Instead, STDU Viewer found a way to make the software much more user friendly by allowing every format to be viewed through a single app. You won't have to have your hard drive filled with dozens of viewer apps any longer. Like many other similar file viewers and managers, STDU Viewer features a user interface that is fairly plain and familiar in appearance. The software includes a toolbar near the top of the window, several contextual menus, and a display panel. It operates exactly like a PDF viewer, only it is designed to view many, many other formats as well. It is compatible with almost all text files, JBIG2 files, Open XML Paper Specification files, and Comic Book Archive files. You'll have access to a number of basic functions in the STDU Viewer software. You can use bookmarks to easily find your place again, and you can select text and images for easier manipulation. You can improve the view by zooming in or entering the fullscreen mode, and the software features an integrated document search function. If you have any experience with standard document viewers, you won't have any issue taking full advantage of STDU Viewer. The tool is exceptionally intuitive, but it would have been a nice addition to see the inclusion of a help section or tutorials. While STDU Viewer is nothing to write home about, it does provide users with the ability to view uncommon documents and other files that aren't commonly supported by document viewing software. If you often encounter unusual file formats that require your scrutiny, STDU Viewer is an excellent option. One of the upsides of the software is that it takes almost no effort to download or install. The file is relatively small, and it takes only a few minutes to install. If you happen to need to uninstall the software, you can do so in just a few minutes. Everyone who views multiple file formats per day could take advantage of STDU Viewer.
