Worldpay Reviews
We have 1 review for Worldpay. The average overall ratings is 4.0 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: Worldpay is an excellent choice for businesses both large and small. Having the options to accept major credit and debit cards for a fair price is a must in today's world of commerce. Wordlpay is one of the largest payment processors in the world, and services many businesses in the United States, making it a tried and true solution to payment problems. One of the most surprising facts about Worldpay is that it has an A+ rating wit the BBB, and has very few complaints lodged against it. On top of its rating with the BBB, Worldpay also has one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings in they payment processing industry. This is most likely due in part to the great reviews that their customer service department gets online, which makes signing a long term contract much more appealing. Another strong selling point about Worldpay is that they offer negotiated prices for processing fees. If you are a larger company you may be able to negotiate a better rate for credit card transactions. For the smaller businesses out there, the standard rates Worldpay has in their customer agreement are competitive for the industry. Although there are many good things to say about Worldpay, customers should know that not everything perfect with the company. For starters, every contract that is negotiated with Worldpay will have an early termination fee. This early termination fee is $295 dollars, which is prorated for each month of your three year contract. While this is not an egregious amount of money, it doesn't allow businesses to try out the company's payment processing services for a short time to determine how good the service is. This leads to another problem with Worldpay. The minimum contract is three years in length, meaning that if you don't like the service you'll have to wait, or pay the early termination fee. Another thing for customers to watch out for is the "Free" terminal offer that you may see on the Worldpay website. This offer may appear on their website and advertisements, but you will want to check the terms in your contract before you commit. This isn't to say Worldpay is guilty of false advertisement, but you may want to see if you qualify for the free terminal special.
Pros: Huge International Payment Processor Interchange Pricing Availability Excellent Customer Support No Hidden Fees
Cons: Early Termination Fees Apply To Most Contracts Three Year Contracts Minimum Somewhat Misleading Terminal Offer
