Optimizing a website to achieve a high ranking in Google is as much an art as it is a science, and Ahrefs is a powerful tool that helps site owners focus on research and content. Knowing what a competitor is doing well when it comes to SEO can be a powerful advantage. The tools included with Ahrefs include web monitoring, rank tracking, and competitive analysis. The program will also analyze keywords so that site owners can better create content which has value but also ranks well. An advantage of using Ahrefs is that it is an all-in-one SEO tool. It comes with a hefty price tag. There is a $7 trial for seven days, but after that the basic plan will cost users $99 per month. The top tier is an agency plan which is $999 per month. Depending on the number of clients an agency has, this may be a more affordable option than similar services. For the individual, however, the price is steep. It is impossible to dispute, though, that the program allows access to a large number of tools. The reports that can be generated by Ahrefs include ones which address position tracking, keyword research, backlink analysis, and on-page optimization. These are practical tools that can be used by those who have very little experience with SEO. The interface of the program is also very easy to navigate, and it only takes a few minutes to figure out most of the features. One of the hallmarks of Ahrefs is its huge database of backlinks. The program uses a crawling function that dwarfs those used by other programs. Being able to crawl sites is what provides a detailed backlink analysis, and most SEO tools are measured by the strength of their crawling robot. This program might be unmatched in this regard, so the data being provided has a high degree of relevancy and accuracy. Those who have used Moz or SEMrush will have an advantage when it comes to using Ahrefs, but those users may be turned off by the pricing. It is hard to say whether this program does enough to justify being so much more expensive than its competitors.
